Obama says Capitalism has failed and it is time for Communism.

So he never said "Capitalism has failed" or "It's time to try Communism".

Hence you are lying.

Does someone have to say it specific. You tell me what the "you’re-on-your-own economics" is. What type of economic system is that? And what is the "economy that lasts because we’ve all got a stake in each other’s success" mean. What kind of economy is that?

You're making some pretty wild and hyperbolic accusations here.

So yeah..you have to be specific.

So you are saying that a "you’re-on-your-own economics" does not = capitalism correct?
and you are saying that an "economy that lasts because we’ve all got a stake in each other’s success" does not = communism correct? Do tell what kind of economies we are talking about then. What kind of economies are these?

let's see communism is the idea that everyone in a given society receives equal shares of the benefits derived from labor. Obama says we need an "economy that lasts because we’ve all got a stake in each other’s success". Sounds the same to me. Where is the difference here?

Everyone having a STAKE in each others' success does not mean everyone receives an equal SHARE of the benefits, but you knew that already.

No..it doesn't. And capitalism doesn't make any mention of social programs.

And if you understood the way capitalism works..most people get rich with the help and business of other people. Capitalism depends on consumers. If consumers have no money..then capitalism will fail.

Do some reading.

First of..he makes no mention of "equal shares". And communism doesn't even preach that. It's "From each according to their abilities to each according to their needs".

Communism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Communism is a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of a classless, moneyless, stateless and socialist society structured upon common ownership of the means of production. This movement, in its Marxist-Leninist interpretations, significantly influenced the history of the 20th century, which saw intense rivalry between the "socialist world" (socialist states ruled by Communist parties) and the "western world" (countries with market economies), culminating in the Cold War between the Eastern bloc and the "Free World".[citation needed]

then you're either stupid, or deaf. Which is it?

Here is a quote "the same old you’re-on-your-own economics.

It just doesn’t work. In fact, it’s never worked. It didn’t work in the decade before the Great Depression. It didn’t work when we tried it during the last decade. Why do we think it would work now? "

and more "We got to build an economy that lasts because we’ve all got a stake in each other’s success.
"

The speech I referred to was today so I can not find a transcript on it yet. I will look later to see if I can get the direct quote. But he is saying the same thing here just a different way.

Naw, its okay if we just make shit up and base our votes on that shit.

Obama says that the individual economy has failed. He says it failed before the great depression and it failed before him. He said that we need to change the economy from the individual to the collective. He is saying that capitalism has failed and we need Communism. Why no one is reporting this and no one is bothered by it gets me. I guess I live to close to Cuba and I know what that really means.
I know some out there are going to act like I’m crazy and say it is a conspiracy theory. It is not a conspiracy theory if he is saying it. You tell me what he is referring to when he says the individual economy. What exactly is that to you? Is there another type of individual economy out there that I don’t know about?

Link?
It means American manufacturing resurging. It means American sources of energy — and not just the old energy, but the new energy — solar energy and wind energy and biodiesel that can not only free ourselves from dependence on foreign oil but also help save a planet.

We’ve got more work to do. Making sure that every single one of our young people have the skills that they need to compete in the 21st century. We still have schools where half the kids are dropping out.

He is talking about MANUFACTURERS AND ENTREPRENEURS. How pray tell is that Communist?

This does appear to reference either "socialism" or "communism":

we still want America to have the best manufacturing capacity in the world — which is part of the reason why at a time when it was unpopular not just with the Republicans but also Democrats to save the auto industry, we decided to go in there and restructure and force workers and management to work together. (Applause.) And GM, which was on the verge of liquidation, is now once again the number-one automaker in the world, with the highest profits that they have ever seen. (Applause.)

And part of our commitment to that economy of the future was making sure that we restored science to its rightful place. And so we increased our investments in NIH and NSF, and made sure that stem cell research could proceed. (Applause.) And insisted that we place the highest priority on technology and innovation, in government, through our research — because nobody understands better than this region of the country and how important that is to our economic future.

I hate to break the bad news to all the wingnuts....

But ever since the industrial revolution we are all economically inter-dependant.

The question is do we share wealth equally, do we alot the wealth according to each individual's productive value or do we continue with the current 'may the best thief win' economy.

Yes because the countries sharing the wealth are something that has been wonderful and created a true utopia that everyone is running to. Oh wait that is America with the best thieves winning the economy.

The old economy? Laissez-faire. The new economy? Well regulated Capitalism.

By the way..the logical end of laissez-faire is corporatism. Eventually most competitors see the folly in that..and merge. When there is no competition..capitalism dies.
