Obama is right of center. Please quit referring to him as leftist.

Anyone who thinks Nazis are "at the very end of the left" is an idiot.

Heil Multiculturalism!!!

.

They are on the left though. maybe not the end. but totalitarian is far left, Anarchy is to the far right.

Not that it really matters because everyone spectrum is completely suggestive. But Nazis have alot more in common with marxists than with limited government Constitutionalists.

You can be authoritarian left or right... for example, Stalin, authoritarian left... Genghis Khan, authoritarian right.. to show 2 extremes

Or authoritarian center, which is where most of our leader have been in recent years.

What the HELL are you talking about? You clearly think that "libertarian" means liberal....

Authoritarian is far left. Libertarian is far right. Dumbocrats are now Marxist/Socialist/Communist/Nazi's, which puts them at the very end of the left with "authoritarian". Republican is Kennedy-era big government, big spending liberals, putting them half way left of center. Tea Party is dead center, ground zero, constitutional government.

Anyone who thinks Nazis are "at the very end of the left" is an idiot.

Uh - please explain to me how you can go further left than the Nazi's? Complete and total government control!

It's amazing how nobody understands these concepts. If the left believes in big government, controlling <insert section here> (the economy, thoughts, actions, etc.), the Nazi is as far left as you can go.

If the right believes in small government, then anarchy (NO RULES, NO GOVERNMENT) is as far right as you can go.

This is not difficult people...

Three strikes and you're........in the club.

Totalitarian government can come out of either liberal or conservatives agendas - just depends on how you pursue them. Trying to squeeze everything into the flatline of the left/right spectrum only obscures understanding of what's going on. The Nolan Chart, or other schemes for seeing a more developed picture, are much more useful.

This isn't about 'right' or 'left'. Authoritarianism comes in both flavors.

It is Progressive/ Statism versus a free society.

Progressives believe government knows what is best for you and the individual, not so much.

The Nazi's were Progressives. The Communists were progressives.

They both hated, and continue to hate, the personal liberty, freedom, individualism and self-determination of the free American society.

Oh, and Obama is a Progressive.

Libertarian is nothing more than a naive appeal to a state of anarchy, which if it ever was actually ever fucking PRACTICED as an actual government instead of the mental masturbation that it is, would INSTANTLY collapse into the totalitarian / authoritarian they profess to hate.

You actually expect these people to have a coherent grasp on politics and reality?

Well this is pretty much what we expect from you anymore.^^
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's not my fault calling Obama a leftist or a liberal is ignorant. I've really just given up on most Americans to have anything approaching an educated view.

Thank you.

He is more authoritarian than libertarian. So he is up on the chart and to the right.

There were even complaints from his own left wing party that he was too far left. His voting record is the most left wing of all left wing assholes.

He is a goddamned Marxist!

What's amusing to me is there isn't a genuine liberal or leftist mainstream party in this country yet all you'll hear out of retards is how the liberals or socialists are taking over.

oh for crying out loud.

Obamalama has not even been able to see the center with binoculars

I'd agree he's not center on the authoritarian/libertarian axis - but when it comes to left/right, he more or less splits the difference. He's certainly no 'dove', loves the police state and is pro-business (at least in the corporatist sense).

Thank you.

He is more authoritarian than libertarian. So he is up on the chart and to the right.
Character properties are not an indication of right or left.

It's the economy, stupid.

People who are to the right have budgets, stick to the program, and set savings aside for future needs.

People who are to the left do not play well with others, thinks budgets are what somebody else does, and think they should get a free ride on other people's hard work and money.

Obama is so far to the left of anybody on this board it isn't funny.

Stop spinning.

That's a pretty arbitrary selection of qualifiers for 'left' and 'right'. Which just sort of highlights how useless the terms have become.

You cons are ridiculous always trying to pigeonhole Obama..

He isn't right of center or a socialist. He is a nice, happy medium. I like that in a president.
