The rally was attended by 900 people and was in a Ball Room by invitation only, the event was not open to the general public.


Though the ballroom on Saturday was filled with ardent Obama supporters, the former president urged attendees to use his message and encouragement to fuel their upcoming fight.

Only 750 tickets are said to be available for an “invitation-only” rally Saturday featuring Barack Obama in rare campaign mode.

Obama is right on this. The Trump unemployment under 4% is potentially catastrophic to the Democrats if if continues. A lot of people will find they will like the idea of working and earning a good living, and Obama's "funemployment" concept has less going for it than they thought.

speaking only of venues, many convention centers are *supposed* to be able to handle various sizes. if all they did was 7500 capacity then they'd be used a lot less. if a city wants to make $$$ on their convention centers then they will need to be able to support activities of all sizes. getting mad at this is kinda selective.
