Why in the hell is it Obama continues to give terrorist credibility? Now he is looking to negotiate with Iran over the Iraq crisis.

Listen Obama you dumb fuck. You are now seeking help from the same a$$holes who lined the roads of Iraq with IED's killing and maiming our troops. Hey, maybe Obama can send them weapons too.

Obama needed Putin to save him in Russia and now Iran. This is really embarrassing.

Handle your own business son!

More failed policy from a failed POTUS experiment in diversity and the world is paying the price.

U.S. considers talks with Iran as Iraq insurgents advance

(Reuters) - The United States is contemplating talks with its arch enemy Iran to support the Iraqi government in its battle with Sunni Islamist insurgents who routed Baghdad's army and seized the north of the country in the past week.

The stunning onslaught by militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant threatens to dismember Iraq and unleash all-out sectarian warfare across a crescent of the Middle East, with no regard for national borders that the fighters reject.

Joint action between the United States and Iran to help prop up the government of their mutual ally Nuri al-Maliki, the Iraqi prime minister, would be a major breakthrough after hostility dating to Iran's 1979 revolution, and demonstrates the degree of alarm raised by the lightning insurgent advance.

The Iranians are already in Iraq. They supposedly want to stop the terrorists who are trying to take over Iraq. One of their generals has taken over the Iraqi army. Talking to them would do no harm.

You cannot be taken seriously on this issue as long as you fail to put an "s" at the end of the plural usage of the word "terrorist". Not by me, anyway.

I disagree. Talking with them like the nuclear talks? LMAO

The day the United States needs Iran for jack shit will be the day Obama has truly 'transformed' America to the doormat of the modern world

I forced myself to read the OP, anyway.

I was right. Not to be taken seriously.

That's because you don't care. That's fine. But I do care.

You care....in as far as what happens can possibly be considered politically damaging to the president. The focus of just about everything you do here is criticizing the president for what he has done....what he hasn't done and now....what he may or may not do in the future.

Everyone here knows that if the president were to go on TV today and announce that he is severing all lines of communication with Iran.....your lame ass would be here minutes later screaming about how he is an ineffective leader and is going to let the terrorists take Baghdad.

Transparent. Like a pane of glass.

Part fact, part fiction. Yes, I make it a point to follow what action, or lack of action, Obama carries out daily. He is consistent however, in (2) key areas.

1- His foreign policy is a disaster and he is very good at making on a routine basis, very unsound political decisions that will have severe consequences for the US for years to come.

2- He tries very hard to be a very poor golfer. I wonder if #1 is a result of #2? Or perhaps he should do more of #2 and just blow off #1?

Look ma! No "s"!!!

Iran’s Terrorism Problem

Iran?s Terrorism Problem | Brookings Institution

Iran is a major sponsor of terrorism, striking Israel, U.S. Arab allies, and at times Americans. The twin blasts on Tuesday that destroyed the Iranian embassy in Lebanon and killed at least twenty people, however, should remind us that Iran faces a serious terrorism problem of its own. It is tempting to enjoy Iran getting a taste of its own medicine, but the growing violence risks further destabilizing the Middle East and harming U.S. interests there.

Iranian Influence, Terrorist Links, Threaten Latin American Security

By Donna Miles

WASHINGTON, March 17, 2009 – Iran is increasing its presence in Latin America, and Hezbollah, a terrorist organization it sponsors, is making inroads in drug trafficking in Colombia, the commander of U.S. Southern Command told Congress today.
Navy Adm. James G. Stavridis told the House Armed Services Committee he shares concerns expressed by Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates about Iranian activity in Central and South America. Iran has opened six embassies in the region during the past five years and is promoting Islamic activities in the region.

“That is of concern, principally because of the connection between the government of Iran, which is a state sponsor of terrorism, and Hezbollah,” Stavridis said today. “We see a great deal of Hezbollah activity throughout South America, in particular.”

Oh! You want to say that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism! That's a little different than actually being a terrorist organization, isn't it?

Let's play a game. Please name the three most influential state sponsors of terrorism.

Really now.

So they didn't directly kill American troops.

And you do remember the Iraq/Iran war right?

Who do you think was "sponsoring" Iraq at the time?
