This is in politics because of Democrat bail laws in NY. Democrats love violence.

A woman who shoved and hurled racial slurs at an Asian man on a New York City subway in 2021 has been arrested once again on Friday, this time for a murder and an arson that occurred on the same day.
Tandika Wright, 36, is accused of killing Lavina Nolley, 49, in the NYCHA Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City on Dec. 9, 2021. She allegedly slashed the victim repeatedly before setting the apartment ablaze.
Police found Nolley with burns and bodily trauma at around 6:20 p.m., PIX11 reported. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died due to injuries from smoke inhalation.
Nolley’s death was ruled a homicide. It has also been linked to drugs, with one police source saying that both Wright and Nolley were suspected users, according to the New York Daily News.

She pleaded guilty to an aggravated harassment charge in May and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
The incident, which occurred on the same day as the murder, took place on a southbound F train approaching 23rd Street station at around 6:15 p.m. — apparently just minutes before Nolley was located.

“Hey, are you a ch*nk? You people brought the virus here. You people killed my people,” Wright told the victim before shoving him as she fled.
At the time, the Brooklyn resident was already on parole after being convicted of attempted first-degree manslaughter. She was initially arrested on Dec. 11, 2014, for that case and charged with second-degree murder.
Wright then spent 2015 to 2019 in prison before being released on parole. Records show she was also behind bars from 2011 to 2013 for fourth-degree arson, according to the New York Post.

With the latest incident, Wright now has a record of about three dozen arrests.
Wright was charged with murder, manslaughter, assault, arson and criminal possession of a weapon after Friday’s arrest.

The Rand Paul staffer that was stabbed... was attacked for unknown reasons and his attacker had just been released from jail.... what are the dems doing... did they run on letting violent felons out of prison?....

The question about rehabilitation and bail is a serious one. I believe most people are redeemable especially as years and decades pass. People need to be able to prove they are ready though and have supports (and society should.want them to be independent). If bail is too quick for very serious crimes than yes, repeat offenders will be born.

At some point you just need to throw away the key and save innocent lives.

I don't really care if a violent criminal is “redeemable”. They are in prison to be punished for their actions, not rehabitated. Our legal system began to fail as soon as it started experimenting with the rehabilitation of criminals instead of punishing them. Prisons should be very unpleasant places like Alcatraz was and Supermaxes are today. Alcatraz had a silence rule, prisoners were forbidden to talk, in supermaxes they are forbidden contact with any other prisoners. They live in isolation with very limited contact even with the guards.

Blacks always scream racism, but it's almost always the blacks committing race based crimes.

I wish we could send them all back to Africa.

How amazing would that be? They get to leave racist America and be free of slavery. And America instantly becomes not racist. Everyone wins.

I mean if there is a country and one small part of that country says everyone treats them bad, the large portion doesn't like them and both sides are unhappy, the answer is to remove that small group.

Wrong.
The point of punishment IS rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation is the attempt to make is less likely for them to repeat crimes when they get out.
If you do not want or attempt rehabilitation, then the only other alternative is to keep them institutionalized forever.
Supermax prisons have at least an hour a day with socialization.
Total isolation would not at all allow for inmates to be safer when their sentence is over.

Almost all crimes are due to the illegal War on Drugs.
Blacks in the US are on average actually over 90% white.
Blacks in the US know nothing about the languages used in Africa, and would be susceptible to the local diseases.
And those who treat Blacks badly would just focus on other minorities if there were no Blacks.

Beside Native American immigration, the other main source are those who are forced to flee from dictatorships we have installed.
Like in Honduras, Haiti, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, the Ukraine, etc.

:cuckoo:

All humans came from Africa.
It is the source of the evolution of all primates.
What do these primates or Homo Erectus have to do with today's Africans? - basically nothing.
If one believes into the out of Africa thesis - well then those with brains and motivation obviously decided to wander out - and the "others" decide to stay there.

I don’t think history shows that criminal can be redeemed. Criminals commit crimes because it’s easier to steal than work. Historically the only things that stop criminals is to remove them from society, or instill so much fear of the punishment that they stop on their own.

Wrong.

Nonsense - the point of punishment is being imprisoned.
The factual problem is that these prisons in Western countries are all more or less 24/7 YMCA's with guards.
Then lefty&Libs come in, to babble about rehabilitation programs for those that are imprisoned. And obviously in vast majority those rehab programs all fail.
If you do not want or attempt rehabilitation, then the only other alternative is to keep them institutionalized forever.
2x9 mm or 1x7.62x39mm is far cheaper and a very effective deterrent towards capital crimes. Ask and check onto any non fake democratic country.

Anyway IMO the entire prison scheme is wrong, since it does not aid those having been victimized.
There should be a catalog defining a monetary value in regards to a crime - the convict then gets paid half the respective countries minimum wage - and has to work till his crime is paid for.
Most likely the USA would become a world center for "cheap industrial goods" Made in USA.
