It's bad enough that he is such a terrible shot with a bow that he only wounds a bear enough to probably suffer a slow death, then the coward with a gun puts himself above the law and kills another bear with a gun this time for his TV show. What a worthless cowardly POS!
Ted Nugent Pleads Guilty In Illegal Bear Kill | News @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com
Ted Nugent has agreed to plead guilty to transporting a black bear he illegally killed in southeast Alaska.
USA Today reports Nugent made the admission in signing a plea agreement with federal prosecutors that was filed Friday in U.S. District Court.
The plea agreement says Ted illegally shot and killed the bear in May 2009 on Sukkwan Island days after wounding a bear in a bow hunt, which counted toward a state seasonal limit of one bear.
In the hunt, Nugent used a number of bear-baiting sites on U.S. Forest Service property.
The document says Nugent knowingly possessed and transported the bear in misdemeanor violation of the federal Lacey Act.
Nugent, identified in the agreement as Theodore A. Nugent, agreed to pay a $10,000 fine, according to the agreement, which says he also agreed with a two-year probation, including a special condition that he not hunt or fish in Alaska or Forest Service properties for one year. He also agreed to create a public service announcement that would be broadcast on his show every second week for one year, the document states.
This isnt the first time Ted has broken the law with illegal hunting practices: in 2010, Nugent plead no contest to misdemeanor charges of illegal deer baiting and failing to have a properly signed hunting tag while on a 2009 hunt in Northern California. Ted paid a $1,750 fine for the incident, which was part of the filming of his Outdoor Television series.

The COWARD was only a brave patriot while hiding in his blind waiting in ambush for the terrorist bear to take the bait, but was too much of a pusillanimous poltroon to leave the safety of his tree and track the wounded bear on the ground even though the pussy was armed with his brave bow. Even though the Chickenhawk had the advantage with his bow, it was not the same advantage as his hide out up a tree and not enough of an advantage for the candy-assed milksop to put the bear out of its pain, so the POS did not track and kill the bear quickly leaving it up to nature to kill the majestic bear slowly and painfully. It's bad enough that he is such a terrible shot with a bow that he only wounds a bear enough to probably suffer a slow death, then the coward with a gun puts himself above the law and kills another bear with a gun this time for his TV show. Well, ok, but where is the "coward" part in all that? Is this just some anti-hunting thing for you?
People are cited in Alaska all the time for different hunting incidents..
BUT for some reason this is BIG FRIGGEN NEWS.
And from some site called..Ultimate Guitar?
Hunting laws are violated in many states also, not a serious offense but it does show Nugent loves to KILL. He just doesn't want a fair fight, thus he avoided service. He has had other hunting violations, he just likes killing animals, legally or not:
Ted Nugent Charged for Baiting Deer in California | See Pic
In September 2009, Nugent embarked on a hunt near Somerset, El Dorado County, California. He was accompanied by a guide and a cameraman, filming for his Outdoor Channel show "Spirit of the Wild." The video taken appeared in an episode of the show first broadcast on February 9, 2010. California Fish and Game wardens who watched the broadcast noticed that it showed Nugent killing a very young buck which had been attracted by commercial bait. Both the killing of such a young deer and the use of bait are crimes under California state law. On August 13, 2010, he pled no contest in Yuba County to two misdemeanors: illegally baiting a deer, and failing to have a deer tag signed by a government official after a kill. He was fined USD $1,750 by the court and is banned from hunting in California until June 2012. In April 2012 Nugent signed a plea bargaining agreement to plead guilty to two misdemeanors for illegally taking a bear after shooting one earlier at a bait station. He will be fined $10,000, banned from hunting in Alaska and on Federal land for one year and must complete two years on federal probation.[41]

So if you wound a bear, but get nothing out of it... it counts as a kill? Good lord this is bullshit. The bear was killed days after he wounded another bear, violating Alaska’s limit of one bear per hunting season.
I think Ted just enjoys killing things. What a head case.
Ted Nugent Pleads Guilty to Illegally Killing Black Bear
assumed. You don't know that. I've seen fish caught with multiple lures in it. I have seen a deer with an arrow that was stuck in it for many seasons. Unless you can produce the corpse of that bear, it's an assumption, not a fact.Wounding a bear is much the same as killing a bear, It just runs off and dies a lingering death cheating you of his dead carcass to pose for pictures with.
