Sooner or later, one or more of the following will happen....guaranteed:
1. An asteroid too large to deflect will cause a complete extinction level event on Earth.
2. A nuclear war will destroy most life on Earth.
3. The sun will swell and destroy all life on Earth.
Bottom line, at some point everyone on this planet will die.
The only solution for mankind's (don't start with the gender nonsense) survival, is to find a way to travel in space, faster than light and spread to any habitable planets found....if any.

Russia has a number of automous robo subs...small enough to be hard to detect but big enough to carry a 100 megaton war head....the whole sub itself is the weapon. It arrives in a bay...nearly all the way up to the shore...then boom. Even just that one would eliminate surface life on earth within months after it's detonation.
