Well thank goodness we don't live in a country like Commie Canada yet. But opioid products and guns do much more good than harm. A manufacturer of anything cannot stop abuse of their products because somebody makes the decision to abuse them. Here in the US, we call that personal responsibility.

We recently had a school shooting leaving 10 dead and 10 injured. You recently had a motorized terrorist attack killing 10 and injuring 15. Who's ahead in this game anyhow?

Well, still the guys who designed something specifically for killing people.

Thing is, we can live without guns. We really can't live without cars.

A liberal thinks that if they don't like something, nobody else should either.

If they are against guns, you shouldn't have a gun.
If they are against tobacco products, you should't be smoking.
If they are a vegetarian, you shouldn't be at fast food places.
If they believe in global warming, you shouldn't be allowed to drive a SUV.

You don't keep guns away from "crazy" people by disarming all the non-crazy people. Nobody has a crystal ball where we can determine who will use a gun for nefarious reasons and who won't.

Exacly my point. Which is why civilians shouldn't have guns. We never know if some racist freak who has a picture of a guy shooting people in the face as an avatar might suddenly act on all his pent up anger and start shooting up his HUD neighbors.

But it keeps people in line, doesn't it?
