And this was by pro-union workers! :eusa_whistle:

I originally found the story on this clearly anti-union site @ Union Ain?t Wanted: Pro-union Workers Want UAW To Leave Mercedes But, it had a bunch of links, one to Pro-union employees at Alabama's Mercedes-Benz plant ask United Auto Workers union to halt campaign | AL.com

Are they telling us something? :eusa_clap:

Now, many of those signed cards have expired. The pro-union employees want to ask another union to come in and work with them, and Garner said he has talked to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

Nice to see they've told the UAW scum to go away, but they're still living on the Dark Side if they want a different union to give it a shot. But it's a step in the right direction that may lead to those folks realizing they've got better things to do with their hard-earned money than help build dimocrat campaign coffers.

UAW decides to skip election and form union at VW anyway

They just won't stop, will they? In spite of the workers not wanting them and it being a Right to Work state, union bosses are absolutely determined to stick their big noses in where they're not wanted.

The phrase “Local 42″ sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie where the aliens move into a local landfill, but the opinion of the UAW secretary-treasurer may be a bit on the overly optimistic side. For their part, VW simply stated that they ”have no contract or other formal agreement with UAW on this matter.” There is also no formal definition of what the UAW means when they say “a meaningful portion” of the workers there. But some of the workers, speaking to the local paper, were a bit more clear.
