Secretary Tillerson would do well to rehire some of the dismissed State Department staffers--possibly especially at a time like this(?)! The promise had been for a "Satisfying Outcome!" Sunday morning people, even, don't seem to be much into what Secretary Tillerson seems to have wrought.

Perspective | Tillerson to staff: State changes ‘really stressful’ but ultimately ‘satisfying’

China has basis to condemn North Korea, it was able to announce. The United Nations has basis to condemn North Korea, it was able to sanction. Vladimir Putin and Sarah Palin are now probably in drone space. Some people probably do not find North Korea to be a problem, for now(?).

But how is that the State Department cannot find enough room to not just reassure South Korea, but to notice that North Korea seems not to be targeting them? Secretary Tillerson supported "Fire and Fury," on the basis that North Korea is unaccustomed to diplomatic language. Oh Faux Pax, "Holy Myopia," is USA. There is no rational basis to leave South Korea out of any messaging.

"We have friends in the region," could have been made immediately an appropriate response. It is ridicule, included.

Especially if anyone Civil Service or Diplomat were actually still employed at Department of State.

You mean rehire the people who were there when Bill Clinton said this deal will prevent NK from obtaining nukes? :haha:

Mostly, even Bill Clinton has retired. Any events of thirty years ago have been greatly exaggerated(?)!

Mostly, Tillerson is a Wall Street exec, with ties to Russia. . . .and at a time like this(?). Republicans can now point with "Lied" and "Misgivings(?)," about what it is like to run government like a business! It doesn't work so well.

Governments tend to be supportive of entire peoples--in the United States, all of the United Nations at once(?)! China feeds North Korea. China wants for itself trade worldwide. The North Korean regime wants office-holding stability, only: in comparison. It is not clear that it's people have sufficiency to live. So what do the area nations gain from "Fire and Fury?" All hopes and aspirations vanish. That puts even world trade in a noose.

Were staffers available, then Department of State could recommence alliance-building with existing Treaty Organization members--on more visible, viable, and public basis than even tweets.

Except for that, maybe not now!

The State Department could pull the United States out of even its new shell, and business pun included.

You mean like the ones who F*ed up with Benghazi?

You mean like the ones who F*ed up in Libya, allowed Obama to drag us into war Un-Constitutionally, and destabilize a country for terrorists to take over?

You mean like the ones who F*ed up in Syria and allowed Obama to invade Syria and drag us into ANOTHER Un-Constitutional war?

You mean like the ones who negotiated the Un-Constitutional Barry-Iran Treaty that allows Iran to keep developing nukes and gave Iran and Korea to work together, allowing NK to get the missile technology they needed to be able to reach the US with their nukes?

You mean the guys who already know NK had mini-nukes, kept it quiet, and kicked this can down the road to dump it in Trump's lap?

Yeah.......HELL NO!

Liberals love to double down on failure. They created this, so they will know how to fix it, is the most asinine plan put forth so far.

Secretary Tillerson found Iran compliant with the J-Deal, but, also meddling where it was not to be doing so. Libya is an admitted mistake. Benghazi is another staffing snafu--too few, like in StateDepartmentNow. Syria is a Civil War become a religious crusade become end of the religious crusade(?). People will celebrate a birth in a manure pit, and a murder using crucifixion: At least twice in the next twelve months..

Turning attention to the Korean Peninsula, there are neighbors all around. Notice what the new White House has done, compared with the one it replaced. No one thinks, "Donald Trump," and "Nobel Peace Prize," at the start of the New Administration. "Academy Award" and "Emmy" are not associated with the Trump administration at the outset.

The new administration has turned away from the planet--and now the outcome is "Fire and Fury."

Shown in the OP: Department of State needs people back, to pull the new Administration, out of its shell: Business Pun included.

Even in its own legislative branches: The New White House has no friends. The Putin government tends to blame Trump for Sanctions he personally signed. Any diplomacy isolating North Korea, encircling with an organized resistance on several fronts--even taunting away: Ceased.

A staff in place is needed, with experience in the various parts of the nearby region.
