Just imagine that you live in Malaysia but you’re not Muslim. And you kid is non-Muslim too. One day he says that now it’s prohibited to drink water anywhere outside toilet and recommended to drink his own urine if there’d be no water. Recommended by the teacher.

Later state education chairman commented it and sweared this statement was misunderstood by pupils. But the truth we can see no matter how they apologize: the discrimination of non-Muslims happens to be.

Throughout asia and even among some in the US believe urine is beneficial to health. Has nothing to do with religion. It is used for the treatment of some cancers and heart diseases.
Tap and especially river water can be very dangerous and bottled water is not always available.
