No Temperature Record Broke In Phoenix Past 12,085 Days And Counting.

How about at high noon at some point when your natural gas plant has no fuel due to cost increases or transportation delays or statutory restrictions on CO2 emissions?
Okay, high noon, you tell me when that day arrives that there is no natural gas. Now you never ever have to compare them.

Hottest day on record in Phoenix: 122 degrees (June 26, 1990).

Wow, that was very long ago. 12,085 days ago. Reading the news today, I thought something unheard of was happening in the SouthWest deserts. There is not. Thus far, a record has not been broken.

Yes, we can make up all kinds of headlines, that tell the truth much better.

Phoenix temperatures fail, repeatedly, to break record high temperature set in the USA

The OP/elektra is DISHONEST.
There does Not have to be a ONE DAY RECORD to show undue or Record Heat.
In fact, a 30 day record is much more significant.

Phoenix reaches 110 degrees for 30 days in a Row, Extending Streak

It's official. Phoenix has again reached temperatures above 110 degrees. On Saturday, the Valley surpassed 110 degrees for the 30th day.

The Record-Breaking streak continues to Smash the Previous Record set almost 60 years ago. In June 1974, a streak of 18 days was set.
As of Saturday afternoon, the temperature at Phoenix Sky Harbor reached 110 with forecasts of temperatures as high as 114 degrees.

The morning in Phoenix provided no rest from the high temperatures as residents woke up to a scorching 95 degrees. That high-low Broke the previous Daily Record set four years ago when the temperature was 92 degrees.

Off top of my head...I am pretty sure Solar power is DC power. It must be transformed into AC for transmission over any distance. Or line drops (wattswasted would casue heating and loss).
Power plants generate AC power at the generator They step up AC volts (current steps down) to transmit over long distance. Eventually stepping down (current steps up) to a useable level at higher currents into business or home users.//

Where is that EE guy?

yes, step up to very high AC voltage.

all across a field of solar panels you can see the inverters

on a side note, the inverters are noisy, dont ever live near one.

To what post was this a reply (if it wasn't a stand alone)?

DISHONEST Elektra-cuted put up One MINUTE TEMP in "Flagtsaff" above, NOT "Phoenix!

31 days of 110-degree temperatures in Phoenix. Will the streak end Monday?

Relax. It's normal for an interglacial period.

The media coverage should be a red flag to those on the fence. The hype of the "heat wave" the past two weeks was all about a normal summer event that did not do anything "historical" and we are not having any sort of "record warm" year.

We should have a thread about "in your neck of the woods" for everyone to post what your area has observed for the year and whether or not that is consistent with a media obsessed with lying about normal summer heat and never noticing all the evidence the planet is NOT WARMING....

Nashville, not having anything near a "record warm" year, gets to 100F about 1 out of every 3 years, has not this year. Has had multiple record cold for the date events this year.

Sky Harbor showed 108 today. For us in the East Valley, we didn't get above 105 F.

Today was a very pleasant day.

The 110 degree heat is supposed to return for four days starting Thursday. Otherwise, we are back to 104 to 108.

Under the influence of a tenacious heat dome, Phoenix has blown past a record for the longest stretch of days with high temperatures at or above 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43.3 degrees Celsius). As of July 26, that record stood at 27 days. (The previous record, set in 1974, was 18 days.)

Phoenix also tied the record (previously set in 2021) for the most days in a row—six—with a high of at least 115 degrees F (46.1 degrees C). Additionally, the city has tied the record for the most days at or above 115 degrees F within a single year, with 14 days so far in 2023.

And Phoenix hasn’t only sweltered during the day. Nighttime lows hit an all-time high record of 97 degrees F (36.1 degrees C), breaking an earlier peak on July 19. The city has seen a record 17 consecutive days with a low of 90 degrees F (32.2 degrees C) or higher. The previous record of seven days was set twice in 2020.

We've had plenty of record cold issues too.

Those are weather, not climate. The climate readings show you are completely full of shit.
