Newburgh, NY - Mayor: Bring 9/11 Trial To Us, It Is Almost A Tourist Attraction

Newburgh, NY - The mayor of upstate Newburgh said he wants to host the trial of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed and other terrorists.

Nicholas Valentine -- whose small city 60 miles north of the Big Apple is right next to an Air National Guard base being mentioned as a possible trial site -- said the relocation of the case would be a win-win.

"I look at it almost as a tourist attraction. The international attention would put Newburgh on the map," an excited Valentine said.

"So many people would be following the trial. The businesses around here would benefit. People would be going to restaurants and traveling around the Newburgh area who've never been here before."

Valentine said he's not concerned by security risks because federal and state law enforcement would be brought in to secure the trial.

And he went one step further. Valentine noted that Newburgh just opened a new city courthouse inside a renovated former school, and he offered to have the terrorists tried and jailed there.

"Then I could collect the money to pay off the debt on the construction," Valentine said

Businesses said they would welcome new customers.

"We have plenty of seating -- 175 seats. It would be nice to see you," said Deborah D'Agostino, manager of the Asian restaurant Yobo in Newburgh.

Now there's a politician trying to do something for their town. At least he's honest. Think of the amount of money that would pour into the town.

In times such as these an economic boost will be a welcome development.
To stimulate spending and employment is what the current administration has put forth to the American people.

An open trial may even extend beyond a few local economies in New York State, and bring some closure to the grieving victims who lost loved ones in the 911 attacks and also bring some closure to Americans in general.

A more visible outcry from New Yorkers and all red-blooded Americans to have an open trial is the American way.

Bring him back to New York to answer for what happened to all the people who died very horrible deaths, which abruptly changed so many lives, and saddened so many families.

It really stinks when you one can call 12 different people to view an article posted right here on this message board and the number of “views” stay artificially low.

On top of this it’s marked “old” as if this issue is a non-issue and has been resolved.
This is a communist type mind control tactic that attempts to deceive, and mislead the American people public by the false perception that the low numbers (withholding of the true count) means lack of interest.

This is not the case at all. Many local groups in New York City, throughout the United States, and overseas have an overwhelming desire to see an open trial in New York City the sooner the better.

The hijacked media is no longer capable of credible news reporting, and underhanded mind control, opinion-making activities has slithered its way into all information media.

Communism will not work in this open society; it can only destroy it. General Patton was right we fought against the wrong enemy in world war two. The talk of military tribunals, and all the supporters of this evil is nothing more than the American version of Communism.

The "sold-out news media” opinion making tactics, which broadcast totally bogus (high or low) “numbers and percentages” of people agreeing or disagreeing on various issues are relaying on a herd mentality with their "polls" to trick Americans with their wicked deception skills. They try to tell people how to think!

It’s truly is a 1001 ways to tell a lie; be not deceived. For it is not too late for change in America and a halt to what goes on in secrecy when they think no one is paying attention.
