New Rules For Our Troops In Afghanistan

It's called not stirring up shit until we can dump that shithole off on the native shitheads that like it to be a shithole. Afghanis have had every opportunity to join us in the 21st century and refused, fuckem. Their backward 10th century ways were never our problem and we will all be better off the day we walk out of that place and slam the door behind us. We have more pressing problems here at home and do not need to be concerned with shitty cultural flaws in foreign shitholes, enlightenment cannot be delivered at gun point and we should quit trying.

You mean we're not stirring up shit by being there in the first place?

Don't criticize the Taliban, don't speak up for women, and don't talk negatively about PEDOPHILIA??? What does this tell you about our "president"?

From personal experience, the president doesn't write ARs, FMs, or TCs.
Do you honestly think this would not be happening if the president did not approve of the new rules?

Yes

Winning the peace is a million times harder than winning a war and conservatives have never had taste for it because being opposite to their only strategy of escalation, de-escalation feels too much like appeasement. Occupations suck ass and never so much as when the occupiers leave, perhaps conservatives will think about that next time they want to destroy a country and stay there for ten years just to spend a trillion to rebuild it, not counting on it though.

For some reason the link doesn't work but I do find the pedophilia angle interesting because the "Dancing Boys of Afghanistan" are well known. Pedophilia is rampant in certain sectors.

Fascinating that this is finally a direct order instead of an unspoken rule. And how very disgusting of Obama's administration. Nothing should suprise me anymore with these libs, but they never cease to amaze me.

For those that don't know, wealthy men basically create harems of young boys and dress them as young girls to ahem enjoy them sexually. The practice is called bacha bazi

He just appoints the generals to be confirmed by congress. Our general officer corps is getting increasingly weak as the Bush generation retires.

Afghanistan had been tearing itself apart since the communists overthrew Daud Khan in 1978.

Why are you still there then? Four years and counting. And more troop deaths in those four years than in all of Bush's years.

So really, why are you still there? Hypocrites, the lot of you.

Air force generals are filling all the presidential advisor positions and generals who have never engaged in combat are now making combat policy. We have the first commandant of the Marine Corps who has never fought on a battlefield. If you were a general that supported the surge, good luck trying to advance. Our national security advisor hasn't ever held a job with respect to national security, or the military for that matter. Trust me, the DOD is getting ideologically weaker and this president is insuring it does.

The only way we are going to defeat the Islamic enemy is by not appeasing them and giving way to their culture!

Obama the Idiot has a long history of appeasement which has lead to the spread of Islam at an unprecedented rate within the last year!

When is this President going learn?

Funny you mention the Commandant. I'm looking at his fruit salad and I see the Iraqi Campaign Medal with a service star.

Do you see a combat action ribbon? Just because you deployed in a leadership/administrative role does not mean your fighting. Combat veterans in the Marines get the combat action ribbon and the army gets the CIB. If you don't see those then the general has never fought on a battlefield. You get the Iraqi campaign medal with service star for one deployment to Iraq by the way. In any capacity. Every Commandant of the Marine Corps was at one time an infantryman except this one. Every Commandant of the Marine Corps has seen combat first hand and fought except this one.

As for the air force generals, oh well, they are still military, and can still advise.
