AP has a new Poll out today showing a 10% drop in Presidential approval over the last week. His current approval rating is to to 37%. 78% of Americans also feel the Country is going in the wrong direction according to the AP.

Just another reason we have to add voice to the Constitution where it is silent.

It's hilarious that what we all decry--right/left/middle--is that bills don't even get to a vote because of two people, the Majority Leader in the Senate and the Speaker of the House. The only time they ever allow something is when their party is not going to get embarrassed by the outcome of the vote.

Yet when you suggest that we add voice to the constitution to make these pissants act as grown-ups...we can't do that because the document is old and somehow thought to be perfect.

The same is true with how we elect HORs (pun intended). I would think that the fucking libertarians here would be up in arms about the fucking duopoly both major parties have created for themselves in the partitioning of congressional districts. But, no, the relic we live by is old so we can't admit it's in need of a tune-up; not an overhaul but a common sense tune up to basically neuter the party bosses who have locked our government into a useless entity.

I'm happy the GOP is getting the blame. The Boehner shutdown is their fault and they deserve it. Politically it's a win for the Party I identify with; the DNC. However in terms of the nation; the fact that this boob from Ohio or his opposite number in the Senate--the boob from Nevada can do this with near total impunity (the Senate is a different matter) is something we should address.

We're all grown ups. Lets fix it.
