During his speech before the UN, and later making the rounds of talk shows, Benjamin Netanyahu seemed to be signaling a retreat from his confrontation with Obama over Iran policy. He's actually been praising the President!
Is the dispute between the two men starting to thaw? Probably. That doesn't mean they've suddenly become BFF's, but it does indicate that the Prime Minister has read the tea leaves and understands that Obama will still be President of their most important ally after November. Netanyahu's little foray into our domestic politics in support of his buddy Mitt Romney is failing and he's backing out.
