Neo-Fascism – it has nothing to do with Nazis, death camps, or anti-Semitism

In a Republic, actually
There’s clearly considerable ignorance and confusion with regard to the term neo-fascist.

Many incorrectly infer that it has to do with Nazis, death camps, denying the Final Solution, or being an anti-Semite – when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.

Although all Nazis were fascists, not all fascists are Nazis – not all fascists are warmongers or hateful of Jews; indeed, the argument can be made that there are neo-fascist elements among the Israeli right with regard to the policy toward Palestinians.

Rather, neo-fascism is illiberal:

Il·lib·er·al

opposed to liberal principles; restricting freedom of thought or behavior:

"illiberal and anti-democratic policies"

Neo-fascism is reactionary:

reactionary

Characterized by reaction, especially opposition to progress or liberalism; extremely conservative

And neo-fascism is nativist:

nativist

A sociopolitical policy, especially in the United States in the 1800s, favoring the interests of established inhabitants over those of immigrants.

The above accurately describes Trump, his supporters, and the ‘MAGA’ movement – all of which are in fact neo-fascist.

It’s perfectly appropriate, therefore, to refer to some on the right as neo-fascist – to do so is not to accuse conservatives of being ‘Nazis’ or ‘anti-Semites.’

Mostly correct, but fascism still has variations on account of it not being well-established in the world as a political choice.

America's rise of fascism, if it succeeds can be termed as Trumpism more correctly than terming it Nazism.

Also to consider is that Trumpism hasn't yet been shown to be an aggressive foreign policy, as has the two or three instances of past fascist regimes.

Trump's attempts to bring about fascism in America could eventually only apply to domestic politics. Biden more closely represents the military aggressiveness component of past fascist regimes.

Just wow... Circular logic... Round and round you go...

Since you started this merry go round... Name calling is ok when you do it and is justified by the behavior you say you see... Got it...

Thats the problem. Let's look at a term you all hate. The Term "Groomer" is a person who uses indoctrination to forward a political goal by manipulating the defenseless (usually young children). It is a term that infers intentional harm to persons who are ill equipped to deal with it. IE: people who prey on individuals.

I believe you are promoting exactly that type of behavior. It is an accurate description of your behavior. So it is perfectly reasonable to call you and anyone else protecting that behavior a "groomer".. According to your standards.

Did I miss anything?

You are simply not intelligent enough to start a thread. So you know.

Trump is not a fascist, nor does he promote fascist policies. Trumpism is more correctly defined as populism in our representative republic. People first as opposed to government first.

Fascism is when government first is the only option and is enforced by force.

What Biden and Democrats are doing today is closer to fascism than anything Trump is doing.

Oh, gosh. I see "Baghdad Jones'' is up to his usual shenanigians with this tired old brand of spin.

For the benefit of casual passers-by whom may be interested in understanding what fascism actually is, and more importantly, what it is that you're actually fight against...

''Ben Swann explains Fascism.''

It's three minutes. Short and sweet!

Cool story.

Now do "semi-fascist".
