National Sheriffs’ Association Calls For Marijuana Rescheduling

The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) approved a resolution last week that calls for the federal rescheduling of marijuana, while at the same time reaffirming the group’s opposition to legalizing cannabis.

There never was a war on drugs. If there was it would be like the successful war on drugs in Singapore.

Moving it to Schedule II would make it legal for doctors to prescribe it nationwide. It would also open up marijuana to FDA testing to see what all the benefits can be.

Schedule I drugs cannot be tested for benefits. They can only be tested to see how much harm it does, and marijuana should have NEVER been on Schedule I, because in order to be Schedule I, it has to have zero medical benefit and be highly physically addictive.

Marijuana has been proven to have significant medical benefits and it is not physically addictive in any way shape or form. Matter of fact, some treatment centers are starting to look into using marijuana to help opiate addicts get off of the drugs. Why? Because when a person withdraws from opiates, they get physically sick, experience lots of nausea, joint pain, and extreme twitchiness. What are the effects of a really good high grade indica? It relieves nausea, stimulates appetite, relieves joint and muscle pain, and calms someone down enough to sleep.

No, it is dangerous and a public awareness campaign is way overdue.
Pot lobby has too much influence over corrupt politicians.
We now have state drug cartels.
