I have absolutely no problem with the people of South Carolina deciding to take down the Confederate flag flying over their statehouse. It was placed there in the 60s as a protest to civil rights and never belonged there in the first place. That's a FAR cry from banning the flag in public or turning it into a racist symbol of hate and assuming that is the only intent anyone flying it could possibly have.
