It is an interesting outcome for sure. Why 3 weeks? I think the timeline is irrelevant. Pelosi gets the Fed govt open with "time" to negotiate about immigration on Democrats terms. I hope they use this well.

Trump gets his platform at the State of the Union Address, then in three weeks when the Dems present no compromise, Trump declares an emergency, starts funding the wall.

I think Pelosi won the battle but I doubt she has won the war, these two are far to stubborn.
