Nancy Pelosi: Obamacare Was ‘Bipartisan’ Legislation

Only 25% of Americans want the ACA repealed. That's the GOP 'mandate'.

Does that 75% you claim that want it to stay include the freeloaders getting a subsidy in order to have coverage? They don't count. That's like asking the fox with feathers in his mouth if he raided the chicken house and thinking it the answer has any validity.

This is like the imaginary 3 million illegals who voted for Hillary?

Or if we take California out of the count, Trump won the popular vote?

Goddam that's funny.

If it wasn't bipartisan we'd have single payer and none of the bullshit attacks and changes republicans have used to sabotage it would have been enacted.
So name the Republicans in the bipartisanship! List them.
Many republican Senators and Congressmen were present and contributed when the ACA was being written. Nvm that much of it drew inspiration from a healthcare law enacted by a republican Presidential nominee.
Name the Republicans who participated in writing Obamacare!

Mitt Romney & Heritage Foundation wrote 90% of it...

Not one fucking republican vote, NOT ONE and this lunatic hag says it was a bi-partisan bill. OMG
And 34 Democrats voted against also!
The House passed the Senate bill with a 219–212 vote on March 21, 2010, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against it. The next day, Republicans introduced legislation to repeal the bill. Obama signed ACA into law on March 23, 2010.

I was wrong. 39 democrats.

Well, I just looked. Not all the senators nor all the representatives were Democrats. Thus bipartisan. Bipartisan is a binary thing like "all or none." Was it hugely bipartisan? Hell, no. But was bipartisan.

You don't have the first leg to stand on to talk about my addled brain. And as if what you'll find linked in the prior sentence isn't enough, you again didn't check to see whether what you thought was so. It's as though your brother came in asking what's for dinner and you spread your legs and said, "Fried fish," and then stuck your foot in your mouth.

This is the second time you've opened your mouth and put your foot in it. You wanna see if you can do it again? Come on. Say something...You keep talking back. You got schooled twice now...I know you want some more.

The GOP was 'Complicit', not 'Bi-Partisan', AFTER the fact.

While promising to repeal the ACA Republicans cast something like 100 times to repeal Obamacare...until it truly mattered. When the opportunity came to defund it the GOP refused to do so. Forget their word - their actions showed their betrayal and lies.

Again, the GOP is scared to death of getting stuck with the blame for anything, to the point of inaction / concessions. They have already declared they will do nothing with the ACA until 2018...probably AFTER the elections. Then, afterwards - with 2 years to go before the 2020 elections, they will kick the can down the road again, not wanting to 'rock the boat' with elections coming up. It will be the same with the 'wall'. And if they actually do try to do anything they will be met with the Liberals who have vowed to do nothing but OBSTRUCT.

BIGGEST difference... RomneyCare was ONLY for the unique state of MA. It covered less then 7 million people!
I'm all for the "fifty state" laboratory concept i.e. try it out FIRST in the states. Same for minimum wage and many other
issues that idiots who think that ONE SIZE MUST fit all is the appropriate and practical solution.
RomneyCare would never work nationally as we are seeing Obamacare fail!
Not only that Obamacare was designed to do away with 1,400 companies that employ 450,000 people and these companies pay over
$100 billion a year in TAXES ! How totally inept and stupid.
