The only way Pelosi is losing her Speakership is if the Democrats lose the House next year or if Trump gets reelected and the Dems lose a number of House seats, but still hang onto a small majority to keep them in control. Then there might be a coup against her.

When an incumbent potus is reelected, his party generally picks up House seats, even if not enough to regain/gain control. 2004 and 2012. But the dems are in interesting lot. The did well in 18 running on a progressive/populist agenda of more money for health and education. But the very progressive wing in the House is enamoured with progressive issue like Medicare for All and Free College … that are not really populist.

And Barr told Trump Rudy Rooting with Oligarchs was not a good idea, so Trump seems to have told him to get with the program. I understood Barr thinking that Trump was faced with a career DOJ hostile to him, but I didn't see why that required he enable Trump's leaning towards seeking foreign election assistance.

You're probably confusing DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) and individual HoR candidate fundraising (where Nancy does the bulk of the fund raising she engages in) with numbers reported by the DNC and/or Presidential candidates (not the same thing).

Trust me, Nancy is where she's at because of her ability to raise money for Democrats that are in the HoR (or want to be in the HoR), she holds lots of IOU's; if she didn't she wouldn't be speaker.

Here is The Problem, a lot of people don't believe there is a COUP going on, because they think, oh well, if they get to Trump and find a way to oust him, we still have Mike Pence, but this is not what Nancy Pelosi and The Democrat Leadership wants. They want Pence out to, and Pelosi installed as The Emperor President.

A lot of people didn't think that they'd ever get Impeachment pushed through since they failed at it 3 previous times, but here we are, the 4th time is a charm....right?
