It is a God damed shame when one's ego replaces their reason.

The bigger shame is people keep putting him and others just like him back into public office. Had a Republican made the exact same baseless accusation Murtha did against Marines in Iraq, the ink wouldn't be dry before the left would have been demanding his head and the spineless Republican'ts would have made it clear he should "step down."

Amazing how the latter flinch and scurry like roaches when the light's turned on at the slightest accusation while the former just pretend it never happened and brush aside any accusation at all with deflection.
