After the tariff, the company was forced to hike its prices and customers fled. Orders are a mere 30 percent of what they were a year ago, said George Skarich, the vice president of sales. He suspects many customers are now buying Chinese nails.

One of the things not discussed is that when you have a product and there is a sticker on it that says “made in Mexico”, you know the price will rise. However, there are a great many items that are hidden inside of cars, boats, electronic devices with countries of unknown origin.

Germany........auto makers put 25% against our auto's and Trucks........we have 2% on theirs........Put that to 2% and we will compete........

Go find your SJW safe space snowflake. 1913 was when Income Tax was begun and it was a tax only on people that made over $100,000, today that is the equivalent of about $2.5 million so if you made less than that you paid no Income Tax. Today if you make about 10k you get taxed. And thank god the Republican just gave a gigantic tax break to the wealthy while screwing the poor and middle class. Again.

And now tariffs are going to cause the loss of hundreds of thousand if not millions of jobs for the middle class in the US.
