Why did crowds descend on the truck?

Seems a lot of the people were trampled to death by other people in the crowd, not by Israelis. It happened at 04:45 in the morning. They wouldn't have been giving out the aid at this time you'd think. So people heard there were trucks, who told them? Then they went to the trucks with no organization. There were thousands of people.

And then the trucks drove away and ran over hundreds of people.

Not true. Israel allows all aid to enter Gaza and provides safe corridors whenever possible. As this incident demonstrates, it is not always possible. The problem is with distribution within Gaza. There are a number of factors which contribute to this: Hamas procuring aid for its own use, general lawlessness, lack of staff, and the fact of active fighting in urban areas with militia disguised as civilians.

The actual situation is difficult enough, without you having to lie about it.
