More Hurricanes to Hit Eastern Seaboard Soon

According to Joe Bastardi, well-respected private sector (ahem...) meteorologist, during an interview on TV last night, predicts the eastern seaboard will see more hurricanes in the near upcoming years akin to the 1950's when they experienced 8 of them; as we have entered a similar cycle where the Pacific Ocean is cooling and the Atlantic Ocean is warming.
BTW, Bastardi nailed Katrina in size and landfall and is not a big fan of Global Warming theory.
Keep those hatches battened down East coasters!

Thats the beauty of being an environmental bomb throwing k00k. You only have to be right every so often and its, "See.......told you so!!!".....adn there are plenty of uninformed assholes out there that'll say, "gee whiz.......maybe they are right!!!". But those same uninformed assholes never knew about the string of snow, rain, hurricane, drought et. al predictions that crashed and burned in epic fashion!!!

Denialist, or not, still, he's one of the best forecasters in the country.
How do you know so much about cults?

That forecast, produced by Philip Klotzbach and William Gray, who pioneered these seasonal forecasts, is slated for an update June 3.

Dr. Gray is also a hardcore denialist. One good at self-promotion, due to his regular appearances on The Weather Channel. He advertises himself as the world's foremost hurricane expert, though most of his colleagues consider his science to be 50 years out of date.

Dr. Klotzbach, I don't know much about. Young guy, seems to be Gray's chosen heir.

Now, people are correct in that Dr. Gray regularly revises his hurricane forecasts as the season progresses. And he's not actually very good at the forecasts. Picking random numbers would do almost as well. But Gray's predictions are a sort of Groundhog Day festival now. No one brings up that the groundhog has a 50/50 record, and no one brings up Gray's track record.
