More class warfare with this "corporate jet" nonsense

If someone is rich enough to have a private jet, do they really deserve a tax break? I mean, come on!!! Here's what I would do. Let us working stiffs pay only 15% tax on our income and make the uber wealthy pay 35% for a while. I'm sick of the people who need the least help with taxes passing legislation and writing tax code that benefits them obscenely. Aren't you? When do we, the middle class, get a significant break?

Ughh, the same ole drivel.

The rich pay the most so it makes perfect sense that they get the most back.

Class Warfare is all this President and Democrats have left. They have failed so miserably. Now it's time for them to consult Saul Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals' and pull out all the dirty tricks. One of Alinsky's biggest rules is to divide the people. Pitting American against American is a big part of "Community Organizing." This President is just falling back on what he knows. His Jet rant was just plain ignorant. His own Stimulus included Tax Breaks for Jet Owners. Jet owners didn't get us into this awful mess either. This President and many other Politicians did that. Now they're just deflecting and covering for themselves. Scapegoating the Taxpayers is all the rage with Socialists/Progressives these days. That's just wrong a pretty low. The Taxpayers didn't spend us into Hell. The Government did that. So Class Warfare really is all they have left. They have to divide the People. Saul Alinsky would be so proud of the Democrats.

How many "jobs" do you suppose that jet provides?

Manufacturing
Mechanics
Parts suppliers
Pilots
Training schools
Flight stewards

Anyone notice the trickle down effect?

How many taxes are raised because of each jet sold and the jobs it creates.

Stupidity has no limits apparently.

No they don't pay the most. I pay 35% and some crook pushing money around (many of the same crooks that tanked the economy of the WHOLE EFFING WORLD in the first place) pays 15% without producing ANYTHING - how is that fair? Then he can afford lawyers to help him hide the rest. The rich DO NOT pay their share. Also, why is 100% of my income taxed for SS but only a small fraction of someone making over 100K? How is THAT fair?

You pay millions in taxes? If your paying 35% you either need to fire your accountant or hire one if your doing them yourself.

The rich do pay the majority of the taxes collected in this country.

Yup,blame Jet Owners for his own astounding incompetence. Par for the course i guess. I guess he forgot that his own Stimulus included Tax Breaks for jet owners. And jet owners didn't cause this awful mess. He did that. Oh well, probably about that time to break out his old stand-by Blame DA BOOOOOOOSH and Palin stuff. Him & his Democrats never seem to get enough of that. "Blame the Jet Owners?" Yea that's just pretty funny.

I'm not sure you are understanding the overview of it.

Also take into consideration that if they are paying higher taxes, they will buy less, which means less jobs for what they buy and market out, etc. It doesn't make sense at all.

I'm a working stiff too, as you called it, and well below the median income level. However, my employer is above it, and he's the one providing the jobs.

And you ( and others like you) are the ones providing the labor which your employer uses to remain above the median income level.

It's what we call a symbiotic relationship.

Yes, it is symbiotic...but it is not an equal exchange.

The emloyer is the one who takes the risk when he/she becomes an employer. He/ she may lose everything...making it a gamble of sorts....perhaps an eduycated and calcxulated gamble.....but there is the risk of losing evertything.
And as with everything, the greater the risk, the greater the return

When did Corporate jet owners become a "class"?

When the right started in with it's class warfare bullshit.

hmmm...
The right wanted to keep the tax cuts for ALL americans and that is inciting class warfare.
The left wnats to rid the tax cuts for the upper class only and that is NOT inciting class warfare.

You are a funny man, Clean.

Nonsense, I remember democrats ripping Al Gore for flying a personal jet all over the world while telling us we need to stop using jet fuel. They're standing on principle people!

Or wait, was I just dreaming when that happened?
