Mitt Romney clinched the Republican presidential nomination Tuesday with a win in the Texas primary, a triumph of endurance for a candidate who came up short four years ago and had to fight hard this year as voters flirted with a carousel of GOP rivals.

According to the Associated Press count, Romney surpassed the 1,144 delegates needed to win the nomination by winning at least 88 delegates in the Texas primary.

Time to end America's dark nightmare of Pelosi-Reid-Obama.

There's no one left supporting the kenyan but a very small amount of loud mouthed, blow hard, gas bags that are more brain dead than alive.

    He's gone.

I heard a really interesting piece on the BBC this morning talking about Romney's nomination.... bearing in mind the BBC tend to lean left... they had several pundits (both left and right - and mainly quite independent and rational).... not one of them had a good word to say about Obama... even more interesting, when asked who they thought would win in November, every one of them said 'Romney'. And a few of them were not happy about that. LOL.

He's generally polling ahead of Romney.
