Obama's senate seat

Maybe I missed it but I haven't heard much about the loss of Obama's old senate seat to Republican Mark Kirk, especially since Obamavider endorsed his opponent Alexi Giannoulias.

Even his home state appears to have abandoned him. I don't believe he'll loose Illinois in November but I think even Illinois was sending him a message that he apparently didn't hear.

So who was it that wanted to talk about Mitt Romney not running for Governor of MA again??

Perhaps because the seat's been sort of neutralized? Kirk suffered a stroke after winning the seat and I'm not sure if he's back on the job yet. Might still be in rehab.

I didn't know that, prayers for a quick recovery for Senator Kirk.

Even though he's had some health issues, isn't he still a republican??
