The basic premise of this OP is that black women are incompetent to make their own decisions, which is gravely insulting. Giving a person a choice of A or B, according to her judgment, is neither "pushing" abortion nor "pushing" carrying a pregnancy to term. The "race" of the woman is entirely irrelevant. The only person qualified to make this choice is the pregnant woman herself; not any blowhard politician or a proponent of some religion to which she doesn't subscribe. Individuals make these choices according to their own philosophical/religious/ideological beliefs. There is no role for government on this issue. A black woman, and a woman of any race or ethnicity, is entitled, and qualified, to assert her authority over herself. No one else is qualified to usurp this authority.

Whatever color each of us happens to be (and if anyone doesn't like it, they should take the matter up with a Higher Authority), we have all had a massive dose of just who, and, more importantly, just what this current crop of republicans are. I, too, will never be a republican, but this was their choice. These morons never figured out that half of the population is comprised of women, and a lot of us don't take kindly to subjugation, domination, and condescension, no matter what our race or ethnic background. That they want our vote is downright laughable. I've voted for a bi-racial man, a white woman, and, most recently, a white man, and his running mate, a woman of color. It's not race or sex that matters, it is what a candidate thinks and the policies and ideas that s/he espouses.

Now the argument of the progressives(recessives) is that if those black babies are allowed to be born, then they will starve, because Republicans dont want to take care of other people's children. Most abortions are early term vacuum-aspiration abortions, which result in a spoonful of blood and nothing more. Viewing one would convince most people that the pro-lifers have been lying about everything. That's why pro-lifers don't want the reality of abortion known.
