More accurate!I love the government.
I love the government the founders left us.
I love the government the founders left us.
That form of government no longer exsist. it's been gone since the late 19th century to early 20th century.
Wait a second. You actually only love the government when and if Dems totally dominate it. That's the opposite of what the founders and framers intended. You should be loving it NOW, since no party is in complete control. Checks and balances and all. The three branches of government should have contentious relationships, not all be in the same bed.I love the government the founders left us.

You seem to have missed that the government they designed left the people in the drivers seat to decide their own future.
That is as much a part of the government they left us as any part.
You just hate what the founders left us
Wrong. The founders and framers warned us against Democracy, which is essentially mob rule, and even declared so in article 4 section 4 of the Constitution. Then went about insuring checks and balances and limits and separation of powers that guaranteed a representative form, where the mobs DON'T rule. Where the voice of the people is heard through their chosen representatives.I love the government the founders left us.

You should also read and study the Federalist papers as well. But, you won't.
Please show us all where any such claim was made. Here we are again with the assholes claiming the founders hated democracy
I've never been one to give a red rat's ass what type of thread it is, where it is, or worry too much about offending.Wrong. This really isn't the thread for this type of discussion.

We are in:I think EZ should exercise some moderation and move the lame ass partisan bickering posts that have already infected this thread.
General Discussion Talk about anything...none of it matters here.

No one's ever claimed they hated it, and they were clear it is NOT a "democracy" they created. Article 4 Section 4 states it, and the Federalist Papers are rife with it."Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"
So you think this means BF hated the democracy they created?
no, our government is a representative republicNo they were not clear it was NOT a democracy you idiot.
Words have definitions.
Our government is a democracy.
The founders were commenting on DIRECT DEMOCRACY.
