Michael Cohen’s Business Partner Agrees to Cooperate as Part of Plea Deal

Utterly freaking amazing for a so called witch hunt.

Sounds like there's a wild fire occurring and the crooks are attempting to spin like the blazes! lol

If it's such a "witch hunt", then why have there been several prosecutions, some have gone to jail, and numerous indictments have been done? This is only after a year.

You conservatives had several DECADES to get something on Hillary, and yet nothing has stuck. All the way back to Whitewater, and all the way up to Benghazi and the e-mails. None of those investigations yielded anything, yet you keep hoping it will.

The investigations on Trump and his people? Been very productive. Actual jail time has been served on this case.

Just a matter of time before it sticks to Trump.

One dutch lawyer went to jail for 30 days for making a misstatement having nothing to do with Trump. That is a very poor result for a major investigation.

Mueller is going to have to write the script, force someone to memorize it and repeat it during questioning for something to stick to Trump. It will have to be made up from the first word to the last.

You do understand that none of this investigation has anything to do with Trump right? You know that the business partner was in a taxi business with no connection to Trump right?

If there is nothing there, then why has he agreed to cooperate with prosecutors?
Yup..what did he give..to get such a sweetheart of a deal? Facing decades behind bars..and pleads guilty for 5 years probation???

Facing decades behind bars, he'd be willing to say almost anything and nothing he says will have anything to do with Trump. Just like all the rest.

Already preparing your story for when things go bad, I see. Smart.

I see you are skipping over all the convictions so far. Here, let me help you out with that. I will list all the convictions, but if you go to the link, you can also see all the other indictments.

A Running Tab Of Mueller Investigation Convictions & Indictments.

CONVICTIONS: 5 (or 6, see below)

  • George Papadopoulos: Former Trump Campaign Foreign Policy Advisor, continued in that role after Trump became President. Convicted October 5, 2017 for lying to the FBI regarding communications, on behalf of and with the encouragement Trump Campaign, with Russians aimed at getting dirt on Hillary Clinton from Russian hacked emails. Was arrested July 27, 2017 but the conviction and plea agreement was not released until October 30th. In the interim he continued to work in the Trump Administration and may have been wearing a wire on behalf of the Mueller team.
  • Michael Flynn: Former Marine General, Trump Campaign Advisor, led “lock her up chants” as a keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention, appointed by Trump as National Security Advisor and Director of National Intelligence, perhaps the most sensitive position related to national security in the Administration. Convicted (by guilty plea) on December 1, 2017 for lying to the FBI and regarding contacts and communications with Russians on behalf of the Trump transition team. The plea bargain agreement requires that Flynn fully cooperate with the investigation.
  • Richard Pinedo: California man convicted February 2, 2018 for helping the indicted Russian individuals and companies in their meddling in the Presidential election. Pinedo helped the Russians use dummy bank accounts to work around the security of companies like PayPal. Pinedo helped the Russians appear online as if they were Americans. Pinedo is now cooperating with Mueller’s team.
  • Alex Van der Zwaan: The son-in-law of a Russian oligarch pleads guilty on February 20, 2018 for lying to the FBI regarding his communications with Rick Gates and Paul Manafort on behalf of pro-Soviet elements in the Ukraine. The communications involved were in September 2016, shortly after Manafort left the Trump Campaign and while Gates was still part of the campaign. On March 27, 2018 Mueller files a Sentencing Memorandum with the court for Van der Zwaan. This document details communications, some of which were recorded, between Gates, Manafort and a Russian intelligence agent. This conviction, along with an expected plea agreement with Rick Gates (see below), is seen as evidence that the Mueller’ noose is tightening around Former Trump Campaign Manager Paul Manafort’s indictment. On April 3, 2018 Alex van Der Zwaan is sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $20,000, becoming the first person sentenced in the Russia investigation.
  • Rick Gates: As widely anticipated, on February 23, 2018 Rick Gates strikes a plea agreement and pleads guilty to multiple counts for conspiracy to defraud the United States and making false statements. Gates is Manafort’s long term right hand man who stayed with the Trump Campaign and the administration after Manafort left. Gates agrees that a government drafted Statement of Criminal Information spells out facts and allegations that are true. The Criminal Information Gates stipulates to completely sells out Manafort as it details wide ranging schemes to defraud the United States, money launder, bank fraud and tax fraud. Gates admits to making false statements even after originally indicted in late October 2017 and the Criminal Information seems to indicate Manafort did too. The criminal enterprises detailed in the Criminal Information, and in the Superseding Indictment filed the day before, include many instances of these crimes being committed while Gates and Manafort were working for the Trump Campaign and while Gates was working in the Trump Administration. As is typical, the plea agreement requires that Gates “shall cooperate fully, truthfully, completely and forthrightly with this Office and other Federal, state and local law enforcement authorities identified by this Office in any and all matters to which this Office deems cooperation relevant.”
  • Jeffrey Yohai?: On May 17, 2018 the Wall Street Journal reports Mueller secured a sixth conviction and another cooperating witness against Manafort. Jeffrey Yohai was a business associate of Manafort’s and until divorcing last year the husband to one of Manafort’s daughters. The Wall Street Journal Reports he entered a guilty plea in January that remains under seal as he has been cooperating with the Mueller team since. The WSJ says Yohai plead guilty to a variety of bank and real estate fraud matters and that pursuant to his plea bargain is required to fully cooperate with Mueller’s investigation. If true this would be the second close associate of Manafort to turn against him.

he'd be willing to say almost anything
It doesn't matter what he says, more than that would be required. Do you think Mueller doesn't know this? What in that warped mind of yours leads you to believe that you could EVER oustmart Mueller, or , using your entire brain capacity, think of something he didn't think of twice while on the toilet? Give me a break....

You do understand that none of this investigation has anything to do with Trump right? You know that the business partner was in a taxi business with no connection to Trump right?

Not how it works--what he gives..has to be corroborated...proven six ways to Sunday..before it's accepted..with the possibility of losing his deal if one thing is out of line.
Personally, I hope nothing he says does implicate Trump..I think this country does not need the headache--but seeing Jared and Don JR..in orange..would make my day! I want Trump and all his ilk..so discredited..so buried in the court of public opinion..that it will be a generation before they raise their heads up.

The only jail term is the dutch lawyer. There really have been no convictions despite your cut and paste. There have been no trials, so there have been no convictions. These are guilty pleas to crimes that occurred as a result of the questioning, not independent crimes. The case against General Flynn is falling apart as are the allegations against the Russian nationals.

Nah..if America is stupid enough to elect him again...really..it doesn't effect me at all. I am a firm believer that we get the govt. we deserve.
None of us deserved Obama the spy for 8 miserable years....he will look good in orange though....

Uh..hate to break it to you..but a guilty plea..is a conviction. You don't think that conspiracy to defraud The US an independent crime? Or money laundering?

Uh-huh..sell..they say an active fantasy life is healthy..so dream on. BTW..how many of Obama's circle have been arrested/ Convicted/taken a plea?

You'd do better referencing Clinton..I think she's dirty...but you'll never get there..because she's a smart as she is dirty...

Did you actually type that Hillary is too smart to get caught? She has been caught and her penalty was losing two presidential elections....yeah shes a genius....LMFAO

People keep flipping and turning into states witnesses. Wonder who's gonna be next?
We should start a pool..I think the odds on favorite is Cohen...the sharks are circling..and he just smells of corruption and fear. It's the state charges that will do it. Trump can't help with those..and the State Pen..would not be kind to a short Jewish guy.

Damn//you really are a hard-head, I'll give you that..has she missed any meals/ No. Has she gone to jail. No. So she lost some elections...when all is said and done..history will judge her far more gently than it will Trump..believe that! As if winning or losing an election has anything at all to do with honesty.

Even if Cohen gets convicted what makes you think that will have any effect on Trump? I don't see the link....I do see Obama's deep state though and Obama was the mastermind of it...that will have an effect on the midterms...

You just don't get it..outside of your echo chamber..the rest of America doesn't give a shit about Obama..he's history. Period. Most people think Deep State..and immediately think tinfoil hat dudes. Conspiracy theories do not get a lot of traction...except with the 34%.

No she does not appear to have missed any meals but she has had numerous sleepless nights...She is being punished in a real way...she has gone from the smartest women in America with the brightest future to nothing but a wine drinking angry bitch...She went from being admired to being hated and resented...all in less than a few years...that ought to tell ya to keep your nose clean....especially in politics in this age of search engines....

Trumps new poll numbers are 48% and each and everyone in that 48% would like to see Obama in prison and retroactively impeached....right after Hillary gets hers...

‘Idiot, clown and embarrassment’: New poll shows falling ratings & scathing attitudes to Trump

Now you can do the ritual..blah, blah, blah..about all polls--except the one you like..sing a ditty abut how they got the election wrong...but from where I sit..trump has NEVER had an approval above 50%---the majority of Americans hate him..and will continue to do so..if were not for gerrymandering...he'd be toast for real.
