The same media outlets who quickly identified the Planned Parenthood shooter as a right wing religious terrorist because his incoherent ramblings included the phrase “baby parts” are now struggling to figure out why a Muslim man shot up a gay nightclub, despite his explicit statement he did the deed “for ISIS.”

Hours after news broke that a man had opened fire in a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic, media outlets like The Washington Post used a comment he made about baby parts to connect him to pro-life activists up in arms about the exposure of Planned Parenthood’s dealings in aborted fetuses.

The suspect used the phrase “no more baby parts” to “explain his actions” to police, The Washington Post reported in the lead of the story. The next line was an anonymous quote from an official saying the attack was “definitely politically motivated.”

CNN and other outlets also ran with the baby parts comment, and used more details as they emerged, such as Dear’s registration as a Republican voter and his claims to be a Christian, to build on the narrative that Christian pro-life conservatives are in part responsible for the attack. “For Robert Dear, Religion and Rage Before Planned Parenthood Attack,” read a New York Times headline a few days later. Attorney General Loretta Lynch called the attack a “crime against women receiving health care services.”

Now contrast that with how the same media obfuscates (desperately) from islamic terror connections, even though he swore loyalty to isis.

The New York Times insist the motivation behind Mateen’s attack is unclear, citing a range of causes, from a history of spousal abuse to his identity as a gay man to his “confused” understanding of the difference between ISIS and al-Qaida.

“Politicians will continue to use ‘radical Islam’ as a culprit,” journalist Jessica Nordell wrote in The Washington Post. “But it’s not clear that Mateen was motivated by ideology; indeed, he claimed to support a jumble of groups with conflicting points of view.”

Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Monday authorities would release the transcripts of Mateen’s phone conversations “so people can understand, as we do, possibly what motivated this killer, what led him to this place.”

I watched a news conference from Orlando yesterday from the police commissioner, the mayor and EMS rep. They stated they would take NO questions regarding the investigation at this time. So your 'clueless' statement is premature at best and petulant at worse. I must assume that you know more than anyone, since you are so sure the investigating agencies are so 'clueless'. I must also presume you are a millennial and expect solutions by last commercial.

Get with the program-----our president has stated----THE FUTURE does not belong to those who slander AL NABI and his own pick for GRAND INQUSITOR, Loretta Lynch, has outlawed the citation of Omar's pledge to the CALIPH-----as he shot up the filthy kaffirin.

The media was quick to label the PP shooter and didn't wait for the investigation to complete before running with their first impressions/hopes. It's similar to the way they cry racism immediately after police and minorities clash. They report first and maybe ask questions later. Only when it's a liberal, illegal alien or Muslim do they say they want to wait for facts and then when they don't like the facts that come out, they ignore or grossly underreport.

Mateen called 911 and made some clear, specific statements as to his motives. He also had a history of similar threats and claims of associations with terror groups. Doesn't matter that he claimed to be part of al Qaeda in the past. He clearly held radical views and dreamed of being a valued member of any anti-American terrorist organization.

With the San Bernardino shooters, the left also dragged their feet when it came to even acknowledging he was a radical Muslim. The left ignores blatant evidence and desperately looks for any other reason besides Islamic terrorism.

Whitewash? Or withhold data possibly vital to mining the truth? And you cite the NYTimes headline of 'a few days later' as evidence that anybody you don't like must be a terrorist protector.
