    Let the rightwing outrage begin!

McCain was on board of group linked to former Nazi collaborators

WASHINGTON - GOP presidential nominee John McCain has past connections to a private group that supplied aid to guerrillas seeking to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua in the Iran-Contra affair.

McCain's ties are facing renewed scrutiny after his campaign criticized Barack Obama for his link to a former radical who engaged in violent acts 40 years ago.

The U.S. Council for World Freedom was part of an international organization linked to former Nazi collaborators and ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. The group was dedicated to stamping out communism around the globe.

WOW, this is pretty thin considering any politician in office in the 80's can be linked to Iran-Contra.

How so, and what does Iran Contra have to with being on this board?

It isn't the same. He was voluntarily on the Board for this anti semite racist group. Now he's the friend of Israel.

John McCain is for John McCain just like most politicians. Now he has changed so many things he said in the past and he calls Obama a liar?

I wish we could vote for 'None of the Above' for President. If there were enough votes, new candidates would be selected.

Really? The title of the fucking link is "McCain linked to private group in Iran-Contra case - Yahoo! News"

That's what the entire article is based on. Also, the group wasn't "anti-semitic." It was loosely associated with right wing extremists. The same ones funded under the whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" philosophy of the 80's.
