A world-renowned clinic that President Obama held up as an example of good medicine said Monday that the American people would be "losers" under the House's health care proposal, joining the growing chorus of critics the Obama administration is trying to fend off as the debate intensifies from Capitol Hill to Main Street.

Minnesota's not-for-profit Mayo Clinic, which Mr. Obama has repeatedly hailed as offering top quality care at affordable costs, blasted the House Democrats' version of the health care plan as lawmakers continue to grapple with several bills from each chamber and multiple committees.

The Mayo Clinic said there are some positive elements of the bill, but overall "the proposed legislation misses the opportunity to help create higher quality, more affordable health care for patients."

"In fact, it will do the opposite," clinic officials said, because the proposals aren't patient-focused or results-oriented. "The real losers will be the citizens of the United States."

Your link didn't work. Not trusting the Washington Times I looked around and found that your thread title is wrong.
During the July 21 edition of his Fox News show, Sean Hannity falsely claimed that the Mayo Clinic "slam[med]" President Obama's health care plan -- which Hannity referred to at one point as Obama's "nanny state, cradle to the grave, womb to the tomb, nationalized health care socialized system." In fact, the Mayo Clinic did not criticize Obama's health care proposal. In a June 16 statement, the clinic criticized the House bill for "fail[ing] to use a fundamental lever -- a change in Medicare payment policy -- to help drive necessary improvements in American health care," but subsequently applauded the administration's suggested revisions to the House bill to address Medicare payment rates.

What is the point of this really? Why make things up...if you can't criticize the health plan without resorting to lying then all you are is a partisan hack that hates Democrats more than you care about your country.

If Obamacare is passed, you can bet Obama will fire the clinic officials who criticized his plan.

You're the damn liar.....it's not "wrong" because it's MY thread title....and like there's a big diff between "House" plan and "health" plan anyway....and how can you tell the diff if you can't access the Times article?......you're just stupidly attempting to derail the TRUTH....that Mayo Clinic is against Obama's health plan....

....and your Media Matters hit piece on Hannity is trying to do the same exact thing......
