May 30th events, following the Palestinian escalation in Southern Israel

Too bad the Arabs didn’t abide by that “ International Law” in 1967. They were the ones who were seeking to “ conquer by conquest” Since you’re such an expert on “ International Law” tell us please why the U.N. “ peacekeepers” left the region just prior to the War and why Egypt blocked the Straits of Tiran which was an International Waterway, and why Israel made a formal complaint to the U.N and nothing was done? :dig:
UN resolution 228 indicates it was Israel that didn't honor international law.

You mean “ International Law” was honored by the Arabs when Nasser promised he was going to destroy Israel and blocked International Waters? “ International Law” was respected when Israel went to the U.N. and nothing was done? “ Internatioal Law” was respected when the U.N. “ peacekeepers” left the area knowing what was going to happen?
Would you be concerned about “ International Law” if the Arabs had won and Israel was decimated? Of course not! FUCK. YOU !
. :asshole:

Wrong; Israel left Gaza and the Rockets launched into Israel actually increased. You see nothing wrong with Hamas smuggling weapons in; I do.
It’s funny!!! Blocking the Straits of Tiran against “ International Law” wasn’t illegal? That was one of the reasons for the 67 War . You are a. :ahole-1:
Israel never left Gaza. If Israel did, Gazans wouldn't get shot at while they fish and farm.

I didn't say blocking the Straits was legal.

Did I say any of those things were threats? No, I don't think I did. (Though I'd argue with you about the fire kites -- those ARE threats).

You said there were not enough DEAD JEWS for the Arabs in Gaza to be considered a threat. I'm asking you how many DEAD JEWS is enough? What's the number? 10? 27? 100? 2000? Six million? How many DEAD JEWS does it take until the Jewish people are 'permitted' to defend themselves?
That's not what I said. I have told you this several times, yet you keep re-telling that lie. Why? Why do you lie?

In what seems to be a calculated escalation in Southern Israel, the Gaza vicinity is again unquiet.

Starting just before 7 AM this morning, Palestinian Islamic Jihad started firing rockets and mortars, dozens of them, unto Israel; Iron Dome took care of multiple rockets, yet a mortar shell did hit just nearby a kindergarten. Over 20 launched were directed at Israeli communities.

9 AM, the launches return with sirens. Over 24 'Code Red' sirens are heard in Gaza vicinity in less than 2 hours. 8:02 and 9:36 sign the second wave of launchings in Eshkol and Sha'ar Hanegev.

The second wave of launchings occurs around noon, and then every hour. Islamic Jihad claims that 'Blood shall be answered in Blood' (as they claim attacks on said civilian targets are a legitimate response to the targeting and killing of 3 of their men yesterday while they tried to cross the border and kill Israeli soldiers). Around 4:00, and then 4:36 PM sirens are heard again all across Gaza vicinity, one of the mortars hit a school playground. IDF starts retaliating, targeting Dozens of Hamas sites in Gaza, no casualties reported.

Israeli Cabinet says the rocket firing won't go without a response, and Islamic Jihad threatens again. One of the afternoon launches had Hamas stamp on it.

Third round of launches start at 7:28 PM, following by 7:51. The mortar shells are exchanged with Grads, and the ranges increase to Ofakim and Netivot.

Sirens are against heard late evening with multiple rocket launchings. Israel again attacks, while the last Sirens were heard on 1:08, 1:13, 1:17, 1:24.

Every time the Palestinians start these attacks all over again they get their butts bombed by the IDF.

Nothing new about that.
Israel is always trying out its mooched toys.

[ Those poor Palestinians. Weren't they used to it when Egypt had Gaza for 19 years? And no electricity? ]

Palestine Today reports about how electricity from Israel is no longer being set to Gaza (without mentioning that it was Hamas and Islamic Jihad rocket fire that caused the lines to go down to begin with.)

The article also mentions that the "Egyptian lines are still idle."

It has been nearly a year Egypt sent electricity to Gaza. While their contribution was modest, right now it would have been very useful to have the extra 16 megawatts.

On board the fishing boat, which was headed towards Cyprus, were a number of Palestinian Arabs suffering from disability and illness. This was part of a coordinated and organized flotilla organized by Hamas, which included other fishing boats that accompanied the fishing boat at the start of its journey. The fishing boat was stopped without incident.

The IDF said that "this is yet another incident that takes place as part of the violent disturbances organized by the Hamas terrorist organization and under whose auspices it carries out terrorist activities. Hamas paid Gazan residents to participate in an attempt to violate the naval blockade. This is a cynical use of civilians and sick people."

"The naval blockade was imposed on the Gaza Strip for security reasons as part of the armed conflict with Hamas, and the IDF will continue to enforce it to ensure the security of the residents of the State of Israel," officials in the defense establishment said.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Major General Kamil Abu Rukon, published on Thursday evening a post on COGAT’s Arabic-language Facebook page in which he revealed that the Hamas terrorist organization paid $300 to every person who took part in this week’s flotilla.

"Just think of what could have been done in the Gaza Strip with all the dollars that Hamas wasted on a showcase flotilla that did not lead to any achievement and only creates unnecessary provocations and jeopardizes the gestures given to the fishermen," he said.

"For those who were wondering, the boat was stopped by the navy and the flotilla’s participants were returned to the Gaza Strip despite begging not to go back there. This is another cynical attempt by Hamas to exploit the distress of the residents of the Gaza Strip," wrote Abu Rukon.

Nobody can leave the Gaza prison.
Ask Hamas why they keep the population in prison, and why is it that only Hamas and Islamic Jihad members can leave and return at will.

It must be something in the water.

Hamas definitely wanted all of those sick people to leave on that flotilla. How thoughtful.

26 deaths in 17 years is not a threat.

Ah, so there is a minimum number of dead before a threat is a threat? Is that how we are measuring it nowadays? How many is that? How does any country know that there are enough dead citizens that she is permitted to respond?

Does it reset itself every year? I mean, in January, do you have to wait until enough citizens are dead before you can respond to lethal force?

Oh, and do you have a link to that somewhere in IHL? Where it outlines the exact number of dead necessary before a nation can respond to lethal force against its citizens?
Over 100 Palestinians killed in the last few weeks. Can they respond yet?

You sir are living proof that one need not necessarily have to be a Palestinian to have a Palestinian mentality. You see, Palestinians attack & kill one or more Israel's. Israel retaliates. And then you bitch about how many more dead Palestinians there are than Israeli's. Golly gee, do you think maybe the Palestinians would be wise to stop attacking Israel & killing any Israelis?

Don't be a weasel. It is exactly what you said.

26 deaths in 17 years is not a threat.

The plain English is that there are not enough DEAD JEWS for the Jewish people to be threatened. So, I want to know how many DEAD JEWS its gonna take for you to believe that Arabs pose a threat? 27? 100? 2000? 6 million? What is the number?

Because this is the way the Jewish people, and Israel, see it:
  • The government of Gaza announces its goal is to march to Jerusalem and rip the hearts out of Jews
  • The government of Gaza is being supplied with weapons by Iran which has a COUNTDOWN CLOCK for the destruction of Israel
  • The government of Gaza is managing to smuggle in increasingly longer-range and more destructive weapons in spite of a very extensive blockade
  • The government of Gaza is inciting the people to violence, including bringing weapons to the protest (along with children), breaching the fence in large masses, smuggling weapons into Israel and committing terrorist attacks
  • The government of Gaza deliberately deprives its citizens of the most basic necessities of life in order to funnel resources toward killing Jews
  • The people of Gaza proudly claim that they want the Jews to burn and fly swastikas
  • The people of Gaza brandish knives, bombs, fire and guns while shouting their wish to kill Jews
  • The people of Gaza are actively choosing to die while trying to kill Jews, as a tenet of their religious faith

These are threats. Anyone who doesn't see these things as threats is in willful denial of reality.

And, btw, I am hardly denying that Israel killed Palestinians. Its patently obvious that she did. The question is whether it is justified as a reasonable response to a credible threat. You are claiming that there is no threat. I disagree. The threat is obvious. And I'm not buying for one second that those who approached the fence are "innocent protesters". The innocent ones who only mean to protest and cause no trouble or harm act reasonably. They stay away from the fence. They don't throw stones. They hold signs which say, "peace with Israel" instead of "death to Jews". They leave their children at home. They disperse when non-lethal forms of riot control are used. And you know what, they don't get shot.

And, I'm going to say this one more time. The lives that Israel is saving with its strategy of keeping people away from the fence are Arab lives. Because if 10,000 people suddenly rushed that fence, many with knives and other weapons, there is no way Israel is going to let them anywhere near her citizens and you can guarantee the Arab death toll will be much, much higher.
