This is just a theory. Just a question. I have been thinking about all the mass shootings that have been going on in America, and it might stun some people to find out that although we hear about the major mass shootings only occasionally, actually they have been occuring far more frequently. This varies from A USA Today study which reports more than 200 mass killings, since 2006, to an August 2015 Washington Post report, that the United States was averaging one mass shooting per day.[18]

Whatever the actual count, in trying to analyze these nutty acts, they do seem to have a few things in common. The killers seem to be quiet, rather passive young men, with no criminal history, and whom friends and relatives were shocked to find out about their actions, which bear little or no resemblance to their personalities.

In some cases, like Seung Hui-Cho, the Virginia Tech killer, the guy was so looney that it's a wonder he wasn't locked up in a nuthouse, and there might have been failure on the authorities there. But in just about all the other cases I've seen, the killer seemed relatively normal before the killings.

OK, so here's my theory, or at least a question that pose. Might it be possible that many of these mass shooting killings are being set-up by jihadists ? That said, some folks are likely to say "Why blame it on them ?" OK. Good question. And there's a very good answer to it. Because in these mass shootings, there generally seems to be no motive, no connection between the killers and the victims. One asks themself who would want to kill people (including innocent small children) in large groups ? For what ? Who has any inclination or possible motive to kill Americans they have no relation to, in any way ? Only one group of people come to mind, and fit that description >> Muslim jihadists. (whose goal is to kill Americans - any Americans, anywhere).

So, even if it could be ascertained that Muslim jihadists were behind these awful massacres (Newtown, CT, Amish schoolhouse, San Ysidro McDonalds, Luby's, Aurora, CO movie theater, etc), why would the non-Muslim killers agree to engage in such actions. Answer: >> Mind Control. They simply could have been hypnotized.

All these killers spent time in secluded places, unseen by others, where jihadists which a skill for hypnosis could have encountered them, and being alone with them (as example - the current mass shooting of Jason Brian Dalton, an Uber driver, it could have occured in his cab), exercised their mind control techniques.

In many of the killings, the killers committed suicide. That would also work well for the jihadists, by eliminating the possibility of the killer revealing the MO from the beginning. The more you think about this, the more it appears that many of these nut killers were decent, OK people (As Major Nidal Hasan was, before his connection to Anwar al Awlaki).

Another example is James Holmes (the Aurora, CO movie theater killer). Holmes played soccer and ran cross-countryin high school.[12] He attended a Lutheran Church with his family. He graduated from high school and went on to college, where he received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience with the highest honors.[43][44][45][46] He graduated in the top 1% of his class with a 3.949 GPA. UCR (University of California - Riverside) recommendation letters described Holmes as "a very effective group leader" and a person who "takes an active role in his education, and brings a great amount of intellectual and emotional maturity into the classroom".[48] In 2008, Holmes worked as a counselor at a residential summer camp in Glendale, California, that catered to children aged 7–14. There, he was responsible for ten children and had no disciplinary problems.[49] He was accepted by the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign (UIUC), and offered free tuition + a stipend of $22,600. He also received a $21,600 grant from theNational Institutes of Health, and a $5,000 stipend from the University of Colorado, Denver.[52][53]

This guy was bright, crime-clean, and had everything going for him. No way a guy like this goes into being a mass shooter killer without some sinister outside interference-intervention in his (up-to-then) clean, successful life.

He has hard evidence but it's too sensitive to reveal on this obscure and anonymous message board.

Most mass shootings (shootings with more than 4 dead, not including the shooter) happen around alcohol, gang drive bys and domestic violence.

None of which have an intrinsically or exclusive Muslim connection.
"Most" means > more than half. That leaves a possible 49% of mass shooting being possibly jihadist. I wasn't suggesting a figure anywhere near that large.

PS - you have a source for your assertion ?

Take 2015. There were 330 mass shootings.

96 were club or party incidents
83 were gang violence, mostly drive by shootings.
68 were domestic disputes.
54 were lone wolf/no known motive.
12 were armed robberies/home invasions
11 were drug related incidents
6 were terrorist/hate crimes
Of those 6 terrorist/hate crime attacks, two were Islamic jihadis.

Alcohol, gang violence and domestic violence make up 247 of 330 mass shootings last year. Or about 75%. Jihadi attacks in contrast made up 2 of 330 mass shootings. Or 0.6%.

As for a source, would it matter? You've created an entire thread without one. And you've never let evidence get in your way before.

This dopey post is so riddled with inaccuracies (you need to be more careful), that I will have to take them one by one (by the numbers)

1. The thread is loaded with sources. Besides the TWO listed at the bottom of the OP, there are 10 more of them in the body of the OP (a DOZEN altogether) You're having a bad day.
geez.gif
Ever hear of Wikipedia > every one of those numbers in the thread is a footnote (AKA "source")

2. You are overstepping your bounds. You claim that of 330 mass shootings, only 2 were jihadist. And while you ludicrously claim I offer no sources (when I posted 12), YOU offer no sources, Not one. You haven't offered a single shred of evidence to back up your wild claims, which are about as credible as a talking dog.

3. Not that your UNSOURCED claims should even be given the dignity of a response, but since I'm in a good mood, and I feel a little sorry for you, I will say something about your pitiful post. Even if your numbers were correct (which we can't confirm), I see no evidence whatsoever from you, to assure that many of the shootings you list were not jihadist. What gives you the definition that a shooting is jihadist ? That the shooter claims it to be ? Did you read the OP ? I listed a number of mass shootings (Newtown, CT, Amish schoolhouse, San Ysidro McDonalds, Luby's, Aurora, CO movie theater, etc). And as I said in the OP, ALL of them could have been set-up by jihadists, currently unknown to us. And as I also said (some people have to be told twice) > "They do have the trait of killing Americans they have no relation to, in any way. Only one group of people come to mind, and fit that description >> Muslim jihadists. (whose goal is to kill Americans - any Americans, anywhere)."
That is plenty of reason for suspecting jihadist activity, covertly unseen by us.
So many of the shootings you cite -club or part incidents, domestic disputes, lone wolf (you don't know they have no motive), home invasions, etc, certainly could have been jihadist as well. ANY shooting could be jihadist. That's the point of this thread.
Jihadists don't always take credit for their attacks. What evidence could there be that they necessarily would ? I wouldn;t be surprised if many of the fires occuring in the western states during their summer dry season, are set by jihadists, who remain covert and hidden. You got EVIDENCE they're not ?

4. I get the feeling you didn't read the OP. That is irresponsible. If you did read it, then the post you posted makes you a complete idiot.

No source that backs your claim or is even remotely relevant to it. Posting a link to 'mass shootings' on wikipedia has nothing to do with 'mind control' or muslim jihadis. Nor backs any of it.

And since you have yet to back a thing you've said with evidence, surely you'll understand why I don't feel obligated to do so either.
