It's public funds that save capitalism every 7 to 12 years, like clockwork. Boom and bust business cycles are endemic to capitalism, as well as cronyism. Those who assert that the supposed "invisible hand" of the "free market" will self-regulate the economy, show complete disregard for the devastating effects of market adjustments and disruptions, that could potentially last years and if not resolved by the government would result in economic depressions, tens of millions of people unemployed and social unrest that could escalate to a civil war.

Where as with socialism it's all bust except for the ruling class.

Was John D. Rockefeller a capitalist? What technology did he invent compared to Henry Ford and Thomas Edison.

A congratulatory letter was sent by Stalin to Hitler, for converting to Socialism (what Stalin didn't know was that Hitler hated non-Aryans and actually believed Germans were superior in every way to other peoples and that his military could conquer Stalin's as well as all others.).

Hitler hated Marxists as much as he hated Jews. In fact, he deliberately chose red for his colors to deliberately mislead the Left into thinking he was on their side.

As for Stalin, Hitler was playing him so he would not have to fight a two front war.

Nazism is a racialist and nationalist philosophy. It has very little to do with socialism. Hitler was VERY clear about that in Mein Kampf.

No, they're the most important components of a free market.

I saw a brilliant presentation, some thirty years ago, by a former Soviet "central planner". He spoke at length about the difficulties of managing labor and resources in a way that met the needs of society. He had studied the problem for most of his life, and finally concluded that the best way to handle it was a with a distributed network of resource managers who would be rewarded by how well they satisfied the needs of consumers.

That's called capitalism.
