The medical community is rather united on the known outcome possibilities for every single chemotherapy treatment used today, so much so that you can get a precise likelihood of success for any given treatment.

How do we have such exact information? RESEARCH. Studying the effects on everyone, not just cherry picking old message board posts and discarding what is undesirable, as is your habit.

Sorry your first statement is not correct; at least, it has not been proven to date.

It is not used for pain relief, so saying it doesn't do that doesn't frankly mean much. It has proven quite effective in relieving some symptoms of chemo, however.
