I found this forum recently, too. I don't know about the civility, but it seems pretty much like any other. What I like is the variety of subjects and the variety of views. Some forums seem to all answer the same as each other. Here, many people seem to put a lot of thought into their comments.

Sometimes the "lot of thought into it"...is not a good thing.
