I am curious about this - right now I am reading the Bible, New International Version.
While Leviticus (and other books) have restrictions on certain kinds of sex, there seems to be a generally open acceptance of sex, with sex being a "good" thing (Leviticus seems only to proscribe against man/man sex, incest, and sex with a married woman by someone other than her husband).
Why then the sensitivity against other aspects of human sexuality? Is this restricted in later books of the bible? (still have a ways to read here).
