Andy-Andy (Pop culture reference to Cheers)

I agree with that except the whole subject matter in general is just not my thang.

You mean the porn?

I am curious about this - right now I am reading the Bible, New International Version.

While Leviticus (and other books) have restrictions on certain kinds of sex, there seems to be a generally open acceptance of sex, with sex being a "good" thing (Leviticus seems only to proscribe against man/man sex, incest, and sex with a married woman by someone other than her husband).

Why then the sensitivity against other aspects of human sexuality? Is this restricted in later books of the bible? (still have a ways to read here).

Well sex in my faith is also a GREAT thing, within the confines of husband and wife. Actually in that context anything goes as long as both partners are willing and they keep it between themselves. Intimacy is actually the cornerstone of a successful marriage. Porn is something that just doesn't impress me as anything it's almost laughable to me. If that's what people get into great, just not for me. I prefer more mystery and more passion.

That movie was just flakey to me, lacking in substance. If you want to be voyeuristic and see the emptiness of a porn stars life then Boogie Nights really does capture that, no question about it.

Indeed, that WAS the entire point of the film.

If they had played their cards right, they could have gotten funding from the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts) :)
