Makenna Lee Elrod’s Murder is the Fault of Republicans at Every Level of Government

So you support stricter gun laws to stop some gun crime causing the 30,000 gun deaths a year that are not committed by an immigrant?
Nope, nary a gun grew little hands-n-feet, loaded itself, and went on a shooting spree. That's on the person pulling the trigger.

I do support following gun crime laws that pertain to felons in possession and mandatory sentences for same.

Felon in possession....Boom, five years, end of story.

There was a time when shootings were bad in Richmond, Virginia and the state turned such cases over to the feds for trial and mandatory sentencing. The shootings in Richmond slowed to a crawl once the blacks found out "they don't play" there.

Bring back mandatory sentencing for gun crimes and the three strike felon rule and watch the shootings/violent crime go down.

Time to stop with the kindergarten style transference of responsibilities. Guns don't kill people and gun laws don't kill people anymore than traffic laws cause traffic deaths or food laws cause food deaths.

Once guilt has been established the execution should be swift and public. THAT will have an effect. Keeping them alive for years on death row is stupid.

Ok.. I’ll try it on the other thread with one small change. I’ll let you know how it goes:

It was Heller, not Keller.. And I am not sure if you are paying attention but SCOTUS rulings can be wrong. They just flipped Roe vs Wade which must mean the old ruling was wrong ( i dont agree). The 2nd amendment doesnt say what Heller said it says.

Yep, and Heller was ruled incorrectly.

The magatards of usmb, being the trolls and mental midgets that they are have once again failed to grasp that all we need is to retake the SCOTUS, and Heller, the Roe reversal, voting rights act reversal, Citizens United, and a whole host for conservative utopis goes away in one term.

But these are the people that will walk with candles behind the orange shit stain all the way to the jail house door.

I am unaware gun murder perpetrators get off easily. There are 20,000 gun murders a year. That feels like a lot of death to have pretty much unrestricted access to guns. No other nations struggles like we do. It’s got to be gun availability. All else is the same.

Then let's not blame the kook who killed Laken Riley, either.
Except there are laws actually on the books which don't violate the Constitution that if enforced could have prevented him from being in the US. Riley is a symbol of the problems at the border. But you knew that already.

It’s not the minority report. We can’t guess who is going to use it for bad. Therefore you need to regulate as if they can all be used for bad. Laws that minimize the damage done. Try passing background checks and/or purchase permitting, along with Extreme Risk laws and secure gun storage requirements; and rejecting Shoot First (also known as Stand Your Ground) and permitless carry laws.

Right....Because violent criminals are so stringently observant of the law. :uhoh3:

the only ones regularly used for bad, are by the guys who you wont be able to regulate...

SAY HER NAME. McKenna.

Just a reminder that the gunman in the deadliest school shooting in Texas history bought two AR-style rifles legally just after his 18th birthday — days before his assault on Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. The republicans and their lax gun laws have killed more Mekenna’s than you can count.

Not ONE of you remember her name. McKenna. She was "a light to all who knew her” and the little girl loved to play softball and practice gymnastics and also enjoyed singing and dancing.
