Looks like Macron takes it.

you just all them “white nationalists” and let the anti white lib media define what that means
Wrong again, Trumpster! My definition below. I've posted it more than once.

When you are you going to learn? I am, thankfully, not like you. You're out of your league.

Your cut and paste definition may describe a few people but not most trump supporters

They dont call themselves white nationalists but do have s desire to hold on to the white principles, religion, values and culture that founded this nation

Call us monarchists who follow ML King’s ambition to judge men by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin

its too bad you cant join us in that endeavor

He sure did. He’s got a Napoleon complex and Putin let him know that he’s got a weak military that has not upgraded for anything upcoming.

The French are some scared of Putin.

Can’t blame them, they invaded Russia in the 1800’s. Russia has no qualms regarding war containing France.
They do make good anti ship missiles however.

They also have some 300 nukes and could wipe Putin off the map, so 'fear of Russia' probably isn't a factor. France and the UK both have more aggressive nuclear policies than the U.S. has, and had them during the Cold War as well. It's more like they want cheaper natural gas, is all, and think sucking up will get them better prices. It won't.

With such an abundance of natural gas I'm very surprised that Putin doesn't construct a large battery of gas turbine power plants. The giga-wattage he could generate would be quite impressive. Using the Chinese invented superconducting power ribbon..he could sell electricity up to 1300 miles away with minimal heat loss and sell it to the Europeans more cheaply than they can generate it themselves.

This isn't about being scared of Putin. Let's make sure we label this exactly what it is.

A clear rejection of far right political ideology.

There are a lot of people in a lot of places that better get ready for that same outcome.

LOL. The far right's support is growing in Europe with pretty much each and every election whether they win it or not. Come November, the far right is going to thump the democrats in the US.

The left establishments really need to get of their high horses. Blue collars backed Le Pen. White collars backed Macron. When the left becomes detached from the downtrodden, it never ends well.

Had Macron led France at the time Hitler's grandchildren would be ruling France today.

I'm sure that in Russia there are sighs of relief that will send no more than whine (not a spelling error) to Ukraine.

France's Macron beats Le Pen to win second term - projections

Not unexpected.
Yea not surprised. France is way too far gone. Absolutely overrun by African immigrants and refugees.

The new season of “Presidential Election” has just kicked off, and they are already repeating plot points from the American version.
We have the “centrist” establishment figure taking on the “far-right nationalist”. We had a “leftist firebrand” too, but as usual, he lost on the preliminary rounds after getting just enough mainstream air time to pretend real change was possible.
Blah, blah, blah. Whatever. Macron will “win”, or maybe – maybe – Le Pen will “win”. Either way, there will be no democracy and no real “election”.
Let’s have a little reality check on Emmanuel Macron, shall we?
He is an ex-employee of the Rothschild investment bank. In 2016 he announced he was running for President as leader of a political party that was less than a year old. He had never even run for office of any kind before, let alone won.
Nevertheless, his “movement” stormed over the established political parties and he won the presidency.
This year, despite Covid and lockdowns and eighteen months of yellow vest protests, he’s still expected to win a second term.

Does any of that really make sense?

2020 saw the most obviously-rigged US Presidential election since 2000, and there was a decidedly shady UK election in 2019. We’ve watched Bernie get cheated off the ballot twice in 4 years, and blithely take it on the chin each time.

We are living through year two of an entirely fake pandemic, staged with the cooperation of dozens of national governments, intelligence agencies and multi-lateral organizations.
…do we really think “elections” mean anything at all? That they would leave something like that up to chance?

There is no reason to ever believe any election is genuine.

Phew. A lousy set of options, but Mediocre Mediocrity is better than Autocratic "Christian" White Nationalism.

Kinda like I said in 2020.
Encouragingly, Le Pen's goons didn't attack the National Assembly.

The authoritarians were defeated in France, and in Slovenia, but seem to be now festering in Florida - and one must wonder to what extent the relatively poor showing of European authoritarians was attributable to their affinity for Putin.

An autocrat arrogating power to dictate to local communities in matters of science, medicine, education, reproduction, and the egalitarian sentiments of private enterprise, remains a serious threat to freedom.

They're still out there!

Absolutely. We're far closer to the beginning of this than the end of it.

This is an explosion of the misguided rage and frustration and paranoia that have been building and being fed on the Right since the day Limbaugh went national. It was building and evident globally long before Escalator Day, but the orange pied piper fully released it. I don't think anyone saw this coming, even though there were plenty of clues.

This wasn't a one-time illness. This has metastasized to a point at which it appears we're heading into a period of autocratic White "Christian" Nationalism on our shores. Who knew. But it's here for a while.

My goodness -- nothing says "authoritarian" quite like wanting people to have the freedom to run their own businesses, gather in public as they please or raise their own children.

At least to the Orwellian morons of the world.

The resurrected angry canary in the coal mine early warning system.

When white nationalists, authoritarians, bible-humpers, isolationists, and cults of dysfunctional personality arise in their glorious putrefaction, you know we're in for a rough patch.

So we're going to, we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue.
And we're going to the Capitol, and we're going to try and give...

So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue!"
