I wrote a little thought Poem this Morning when i was taking my coffee :)

Bridles of time past, the sound of the clock.
A feeling of happiness, of misfortune for a time.
Nothing makes the sensations change everything is frozen.
The heart that beats a little, a pain mingled with happiness.
To discover a melody that plunges you into a hope.
To be or not to be, To love is the reason of humanity.
Keep in us that richness which is the desire that runs in our veins.
Until the last moment it will be part of our soul.
Up there in this light it will be the energy vector.
Among the angels he will mingle with our memories

And the video that do with the thought Poem

If you can do the same thing a little poem and the video that go with your Poem :)

Wrote this a couple of years ago, but think it'll work...:)

Sometimes, when worldly cares crowd in,
and life seems to offer no breathin' space...
I need to call a brief timeout,
and let my soul slowly drift to a resting place.

Nice thread Dahlia. After a restless night, this mornings thought poem.

A sad and lonely place
On the dark side of dawn...
When restless souls take flight
And shapeless fears become...

Heavy shrouds that hide my room.
Blind in the night, I seek instead...
A pale circle of courage
from the lamp beside my bed.

Thank you, it's very beautiful what you wrote SeaGal:), I'm trying to have inspiration but sometimes like you said it take a little time
Me too i really like doing poem with song. the other Morning i decide too try with a song and i find this pretty nice:)

A other one ...

A path took me to you, I crossed you but you did not see.
A shadow, a strange moment among other memories.
And this desire to say in secret what we do not dare
The distance of time, the hour that turns with the ghost of this moment.
Who became dust on your heart.

Nicely done Dahlia! A sad sentiment - like 'two ships that pass in the night'.

For a joyous event...anticipating the birth of our granddaughter...

'Adventures to take and books to be read,
Cookies to bake and prayers before bed.

Shining eyes and rosy cheeks.
Christmas lights and Easter treats.

Tiny handprints on the wall,
We're looking forward to it all!'

Hello Seagal, thank you Seagal it's very nice:), I'm happy for you for the arrival of your granddaughter:)

Another poem ...

We met on a summer evening stars shinning in the sky
He was the most handsome, a half-pipe hat covering your a golden-haired
Costumed people dancing and spinning at the rhyme of music.
In the corner i was a unknown woman with my face hidden
Could not believe that the man in the hat with the gloved hand was in front of me
We lost sight after that night but fate decided otherwise
Another night the knight was is turn to be in a corner watching me.
Gently he came to ask me again to dance

This one is the French song that goes with my poem

There a other Video in English that goes with it too:)

You write beautifully romantic poems, both of love lost and love found. It's not something I do well - but here's an attempt.

Remember

When my body aches to feel your touch
and the memory of your face grows dim
When the sound of your voice I can barely recall
I take a walk down by the sea again.

I hear your whisper in the lonely cry of an unseen bird
Feel your soft touch in the caress of early morning mist
See your face in the burst of sunlight piercing a gray sky
Then I close my eyes, take your hand, and remember...the last kiss.

Thank you Seagal, i write one for this bird that i save and i am happy

An eternal love, only two days time
I took care of you and you touched my heart forever
Now you have flown away
You know where I am, maybe one day you'll come to my door
And I'll know it's you, I'll recognize you
