Why is Delta, an LGBT member, also agreeing with me, that Piers is being to forced to deny reality? Steve notwithstanding, this particular incident wasn't about being treated fairly, but about denying the reality of what transsexualism is. Mock got worked up simply because Piers said, "[Mock] was born a boy..." That's both factual and beyond dispute, yet what touched off this incident (according to the online news report stated, I didn't see it on his show) was that in saying that Piers was sensationalizing her story.
She was treated fairly, if anyone wasn't it was Piers.
As one of very few open members of the 'friends of Dorothy' club heh, I'm all about insisting upon being treated fairly, and extend that basic right to everyone else. It's unfortunate Mock blew this up into what it became, but it was of her own doing making hay out of a simple statement of fact.

You, along with Steve, need education. The term Gender Dysphoria evolved in order to displace the stigma of it being considered a mental illness.

Obviously, Morgan did not respect the person before him.
Gender-Reassignment Surgery is just that, GENDER reassignment (gender is how you feel and identify inside and has nothing to do with our physicality.) SEX is male or female or hermaphrodite (some combination of the two.) But transgendered people are not changing their sex. GRS merely changes how they look, and thus how they feel. Males born males, who become female cannot become pregnant. They can LOOK female, but they lack all the internal anatomical structures of those born female.
Even the surgeons who do these procedures say it's "just cometic surgery." So that those evidently ignorant of the facts asre giving Piers grief for simply stating the facts is really unfortunate. It's basically condemning him for not upholding someone's delusion.
