The Left has been the most strident advocate of curtailing rights in this millenium. Hate speech. Forcing commerce. Overturning referenda. The Left represents the totalitarian strain in American politics. They have nothing to do with civil rights any more.

Not according to legislation and insurance underwriters.....after you serve your time and are released then the lifelong punishment begins....

And if there is any reason why you should NOT have your rights restored after you get out, then your sentence was too short. You should still be in jail.

A citizen's gun rights may be the most important right he has. With those, he can defend the rest of his rights.

If the govt takes away all citizens' right to freedom of the press, say, or their right to trial by jury, you probably can't get them back by submitting a vote to such a government.
