Here's a perfect example of how convoluted our Middle East policy is: our Turkish NATO allies attacked our Kurdish anti-ISIS ground forces in Iraq and Syria this week, killing as many as 70 fighters. The Kurdish YPG fighters make up the bulk of the US-backed "Syrian Democratic Forces" who are leading the US fight against ISIS in eastern Syria...

That won't make Turkey very happy.
Fuck em. The Kurds backed us in dessert shield and Storm. We need to stand with our true allies.

That could create some very serious problems. We'd be choosing to side with Turkey's biggest enemy. And Turkey is a major power in the region. Is our Government really willing to part ways with it? I'm not so sure about that.
Yes they are. One only needs to look at the history of Pakistan.

We need to stop allying with any Islamic nations. Ultimately, whether they are Shia or Sunni, they want the west to be conquered by Islam.

We should leave all Muslim lands as soon as possible.

I've never trusted Turkey since what's-his-name took over. He's trying to turn the country into a Caliphate and that means it will have no place in NATO.

You are so right.

[President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan from Turkey when he said, ‘Islam is Islam. There are no modifiers [e.g., Islamic extremism]. Democracy is the train we ride to our ultimate objective.[ world domination.]'
It must be understood that Islam is a political movement masquerading as a religion. The Islamic movement will seize power as soon as it is able.
Obama’s distorted strategy

"Whose side are we on?"

Seriously? You have to ask that out loud?

We're on OUR side, genius

Unless you're a dimocrap. dimocrap scum hate America and everything it stands for.

Seriously, are you ok? Maybe you should try again? Your reply didn't answer the question at all.

The Kurds are always on our side. It's time to cut ties with Turkey they are lost anyway. That democracy is nearing it's end.

Technically, Erdogan was democratically elected and thus democracy ruled. When Islamists have sufficient numbers, they vote in politicians (or clerics) that are pro-Sharia. Once successfully elected, the Islamist leader begins systematically getting rid of secularism and putting in religious rule. When the Palestinians held elections, which the west heralded as a democratic step, the Palestinians voted in Hamas leaders and thus what was voted in were supporters of terrorists and thus an anti-west faction. Just because you have a democracy, doesn't mean that the majority voting will elect a pro-secular freedom candidate, especially when it comes to Islam. Muslims will inherently vote for Islam and Sharia when they have the numbers to make changes. Keep that in mind as the number of Islamists continue to climb in the US.

Yeah, Erdogan's a bad guy. But than again, so are the Saudi leaders, Pakistani leaders, and so on. I'm ashamed of my Government for considering these countries 'Good Friends.'

And what year do you predict will be 'Islamic takeover of the US'? :eek-52: Ridiculous.
