Libertarian Anarchist

It's not like it's the first time that's ever been posted though. She's been told repeatedly over the years that Austrians predicted all these messes.

I mean fuck, just listen to Paul there. He explains exactly WHERE the newly created Fed money is going. Right into housing, creating a bubble!

And this was in 2001! NO ONE was talking about a housing bubble in 2001 except Austrians.

And their doing it again to the tune of 43 billion a month.

Why do you think the securities markets are so inflated? It ain't because the economy is on fire!

Yep, the economy is on fire, it's going down if flames. The death nail will be the hyper-inflation that's coming sooner than later. That's a tax even the poor can't avoid.

I feel it is better to attack the disease of poverty by honestly addressing the causes rather than throw out the medicine because it tastes yucky...

Ever since the start LBJ's so-called 'great society', whose goal was the elimination of poverty, we've spent trillions of dollars through untold numbers of entitlement and redistributive programs. Nearly a half century later, poverty is UP over 2%.

I hope you will at least consider the possibility that whatever the cause of poverty, it has not been helped by the yucky medicine but has in fact, been made worse.

1960s poverty is not the same as 2012 poverty

Yeah in 1960 poor people didn't have cable, tvs and cell phones.

I see default as inevitable. Hyper-inflation, not so much.

Yep, these days that's just enough to not have to care about being poor.

What better way to pay off trillions of debt than with inflated dollars?

That's if those dollars will be accepted. Which they wont, because that type of currency debasement effects international trade and causes currency wars. It's more like;y that the govt. will take extreme protectionist measures to pay their debts.

I expect it to be pretty bad. But not the definition of hyper inflation. The rest of the world would have to abandon the USD and their holdings would have to repatriate. There's a lot of money in bank reserves right now but that all has to be lent first, which just isn't happening.

Limited government is not anarchy. Anarchy is no government at all. Was there anarchy before FDR's socialist programs took over? Nope.

Yep, they had disagreements, hence the 3/5ths of a person for slaves, to deny the south of representation, some didn't want them counted at all for the same reason. They came together, put something together they thought would work and wrote it down. Hamilton wanted a very powerful central government, he lost the debate and the debate was verified by the first congress and the states with the passage and ratification of the bill of rights. Then more than a hundred years later SCOTUS ignored the intent of the Constitution and the 10th admendment and gave Hamilton his victory.

So in Practice, say the first 20 years after the Constitution... How did the Founders do with whatever you Believe their "Intent" was?...

:)

peace...

Domestically things went pretty well, I'm not say there were no bumps in the road, but at least since most of the supreme court had first had knowledge of original intent they stopped allot of things that could have happened.

So they weren't Pure?...

Were the States Marrying People?... :dunno:

:)

peace...

At the time of LBJs war on poverty they did not have electricity, running water, sanitation, shoes or medical care

It was a different class of poverty

States, marrying people, God I hope not, would be tough to consummate.
