So will you voluntarily not take any deductions and pay more in taxes than what the law requires, or will you take the max deductions possible to pay a few Federal Income taxes as possible?

Will you live up to your poltical beliefs or will you be as greedy as you claim Republicans / Conservatives are?

I read somewhere that if every man, woman and child in the US paid $3000, we would eliminate the deficit. I would do that. If it was required for everyone to do that, I would have no problem doing it. I think that as an American, my country has done at least that much for me over time and I don't begrudge the money. I don't think Americans realize how lucky they are to be Americans and what the government does for them overall, compared to many other countries.

The whole point of the tax code is to establish how much every individual and organization is supposed to pay. Liberalism and conservatism have nothing to do with it.

I believe in paying what the tax code says I owe - no more and no less - because that's what the law is for. Those who think it's too much or too little have every right (and obligation) to try to get the laws changed.
